Most Critical Review

Beautiful piece of key-rap.

OCZ Enyo 128GB USB 3.0 MLC External Solid State Disk
OCZ Enyo 128GB USB 3.0 MLC External Solid State Disk

Pros: Light. Beautiful.

Cons: Not functioning for more than 30 minutes max.

Overall Review: First was disconnecting every 6 minutes. RMA, replaced. The new one worked for a while (a couple of weeks) then it started the same random disconnects. Same happens on any computer I tried, mac or pc. Too light to be a doorstopper.

Random disconnects

OCZ Enyo 128GB USB 3.0 MLC External Solid State Disk
OCZ Enyo 128GB USB 3.0 MLC External Solid State Disk

Pros: Lightweight, sleek design.

Cons: Disconnects at random, during or in between activity. Latest disconnect was during formatting.

Slow beyond belief

Western Digital AV-GP WD20EVDS 2TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal AV Hard Drive Bare Drive
Western Digital AV-GP WD20EVDS 2TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal AV Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Probably reliable.

Cons: I will never find out if they are reliable because they are WAY TOO SLOW TO BE OF ANY USE! They should be labeled as SURVEILLANCE ONLY.

Overall Review: Bought a batch of 10 drives. 1 failed within a month. 10% failure rate is bad.

Horrible

iomega 33349 1TB (4 x 250GB) StorCenter Wireless Network Storage Gigabit Ethernet/802.11G
iomega 33349 1TB (4 x 250GB) StorCenter Wireless Network Storage Gigabit Ethernet/802.11G

Pros: Network area storage.

Cons: Malfunctioning, noisy. When dead takes all disks with it.

Overall Review: I had this set as a mirrored array. Their main circuit board got fried (on an UPS) and my whole array became worthless. Recovering 500GB of photography would have cost me more than all the equipment I own (over $20,000). They replaced it, but I completely lost data stored on a MIRRORED ARRAY! The replacement from IOMEGA came bent out of shape. The replacement to the replacement came DOA from IOMEGA. Stay away from IOMEGA products in general and from arrays in particular.
