Pretty good Pre-Built, check your RAM speed in Windows!

ABS Gladiator Gaming PC - Windows 10 Home - Intel i7 10700KF - GeForce RTX 3070 8GB - G.Skill TridentZ RGB 16GB DDR4 3200MHz - 1TB Intel M.2 NVMe SSD

Pros: +Came with MSI Gaming OC RTX 3070 so I'm very happy with the GPU (YMMV the GPU is random) +CPU stays cool gaming @5.1Ghz with the Thermaltake AIO cooler +I like the Thermaltake RGB ring LED on case fans. +Modular PSU +Mesh front of case allows great airflow to keep everything cool.

Cons: -Memory only running at 2133mhz, you need to enable XMP profile in BIOS (press DEL during POST to access BIOS). This is a big miss imho as gaming performance will be bottlenecked by the memory until corrected. -Windows 10 was 2 major updates behind (1909), over a year old. Microsoft has added better support for ray tracing in 2020 so you will want to update that asap. -Nvidia drivers were not installed correctly, kept getting a pop-up Nvidia control panel was not installed. Downloading latest drivers and selecting clean install did the trick. -AIO cooler and 240mm rad fans not lighting up, I need to pull all the wiring out for a closer look to see what isn't plugged in. -There is a Thermaltake adapter/controller I found in the included motherboard box, not sure why this wasn't plugged in already. Maybe it conflicts with the Rosewill rgb controller that is inside the case. -The pre-loaded Gigabyte APP Center seems to keep the CPU at 10% usage while it is running. Closed the app completely and CPU usage dropped to 1%.

Overall Review: Took off 1 egg for XMP not being enabled on the RAM. Very Strong 1440p gaming performance, absolutely crushes 1080p Didn't have much time to test gaming performance yet, briefly tested Overwatch (mostly Ultra settings no AA): FFA 1440p ~280-340 fps. FFA 1080p 400fps steady

Fans never spin no matter how hot the card gets

GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB GDDR5X PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support ATX Xtreme Edition Video Card GV-N108TAORUS X-11GD

Pros: Lights work

Cons: I checked the fan connections to the PCB as best I could without taking apart the card and everything seems connected properly.

Overall Review: Card has Bios Ver F4 and latest Driver Ver from Gigabyte website. Tried 3 different nvidia WHQL driver sets. I found a Gigabyte service rep on Reddit and he asked me to flash to Bios F3P which did nothing to improve the situation. The Fan Stop light never turns off and the card soars in temp to 90C. Starting the RMA process through newegg.... Not a con because I have a full size case, but this card is very big and heavy, bigger than my 980 ti with an Accelero Extreme cooler attached.

7970 performance at 7950 price

MSI Radeon HD 7950 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card R7950 Twin Frozr 3GD5/OC

Pros: MSI reliability, TF3 cooling, my max stable overclocks were 1175/1740, VRMs stay cooler than reference design.

Cons: Price. Fan gets loud once you hit 67C. At stock speeds it stays much cooler though.

Overall Review: 3dMark11 P9025 @ 1175/1740. Runs BF3 Ultra settings nicely on 1080p. 2500k @4.5

Really enjoying the smoothness of 120hz

Acer GD235HZbid Black / Orange 23.6" HDMI Widescreen 1080p NVIDIA LCD 120Hz 3D Monitor 300 cd/m2 ACM 80000:1

Pros: I upgraded from a 24" Dell s2409w, same size and 1080p, but this monitor is much easier on the eyes. I play alot of first person shooters; TF2/L4D/Urban Terror (like CS but much faster gameplay and free!). The 120hz refresh rate when used in regular 2d makes everything extremely smooth, no tearing of the image. Extended gaming sessions that once made my ears tired no longer do. It sounds weird, but the enhanced smoothness has really improved my accuracy in shooters. Pre-sets are decent, turned brightness down to 40%. Didn't have to install any additional drivers/software, plug and play recognized the make/model and had the appropriate native resolution/hz availalbe. includes HDMI/DVI-Dual Link/VGA

Cons: price... Waiting for Fermi before picking up the 3d kit so no 3d yet.

Overall Review: Holding out for Fermi to pickup the 3d vision kit and a new GPU. When using full-auto weapons accuracy went from 20% avg to 30%. running vista x64

Works good on Q6600

Pros: Fit on my micro atx mb. Keeps mb at 65c at 2.9 OC at full load.

Cons: Have to remove motherboard from case to install fan. BARELY fit on my micro atx mb.

Overall Review: Fan speed adjust knob is handy. Biostar g31-m7 te micro atx
