Excellent video card
Pros: This card has given me the best, smoothest, video and game play I have ever had. I have owned one card that was a little bit faster in frame rates but the video quality was nowhere even close.
Cons: The only con I have at this time is the price, but you do get what ya pay for.
Overall Review: I got the Signature Hydro-copper and I have heard some internet rumors that maybe some kind of update, software or bios update is in store to completely unlock this cards capabilities. There are some homemade bios's out there now that will do a big improvement, but I don't care to brick the best most expensive card I have. Really no need to improve it anyway.
Pros: This card has given me the best video and game play I have ever had. I have seen one that is faster as far as frame rates, but it wouldn't even get close to the quality and settings available with this card. I looked at the faster one at my neighbors and then he looked at the quality of my video compared with his and agree's that mine is for sure better. You can get a little faster but ya can't get better. Smooth, perfect video with High frame rates!
Cons: Price Only! $1200 is a lot of cash.
Overall Review: I think this card will last long into the future and this Copper Hydro model is much faster than the air cooled ones. I didn't get mine from NewEgg, was just glad to get one when I did. They were hard to get along with expensive.
Excellent product & Great support
Pros: This stick & throttle are responsive and work very well for all my flight sim games. I play Hawx, Apache AH 64 assualt, Comanche 4, Wings of Prey, Air Conflicts, Il2 Sturmovick, and DCS Blackshark. This is the best stick you can buy for this price range. You can get what is said to be a better stick but get ready to have a heart attack over the price, and there are problems that happen with those 3-4 hundred dollar sticks also.
Cons: The 'only' problem I had with this stick was the twist axis on the stick quit working. I notified Thrustmaster by email, and they had me try it on other computers. They said it was for sure a hardware problem and they sent me a new one within 2 days. The stick was 6 months old when the problem occured. I love their No Hassell customer support!! Great stick.... just buy it.
Overall Review: I will very likely only buy Thrustmaster products after dealing with their great customer service and seeing the quality of this throttle/stick. CH is also good but I don't know about their customer support.
Pros: It does everything it is said to do. Both Mandriva Linux & Windows XP pro like it. It works well with Nero & Ultra-ISO. Am using it on an old P4C800 Asus mainboard with 2gb ram and 2 sata 120gb Seagates and P-4 extreme 3.4gb processor. overclocked to 3.65gb. This old sys. still runs most of the new software..... see no need to change yet. Oh, also have a ATI hd4670 AGP video card also from New Egg... it works very well.
Cons: None Yet..... but if there is I will post again to let everyone know. I did buy a lite on dvd burner that went south after about 6 months. That's why I did Samsung this time. After Microsoft quits support for XP I may likely go totally to Linux.... Don't like windows 7 or the anti-pirate program that hurts the legal customer.
Overall Review: So Far, I recommend this burner if you need an IDE optical drive. I think their are a lot of us still using this stuff. K3B linux burner also works well with this drive.
Pros: This card has recieved some bad raps in the reviews I have read on different sites. I purchased a hd 4670 AGP 2 weeks ago. It works flawlessly. I do highly recommend that all installation instructions be followed to the letter. It replaced a Gainward 7800 Golden Sample. I think one of the main problems people are having is lack of Power. It requires a full power Molex connection, and does require that existing drivers be Completely removed before installation. The drivers on the supplied disk will work fine as long as All previously installed video drivers were removed first. Then I updated the drivers from the AMD/ATI website. With the update, the graphics are smooth, high frame rates etc. It is limited by the AGP interface, so don't expect the same result as PCI-xpress. It is a good buy for those of us who are not ready to build a new rig for a year or two. I am using it on a Asus P4C800-E deluxe with 2 gb OCZ ram, P-4 extreme Ed. 3.4 ghz OC'd to 3.65 under a 550 watt psu and Win XP.
Cons: NONE.. am glad that there are a few mfgs. that are aware that there is still a market for AGP products.
Overall Review: Very good card, good quality, would recommend to someone who is struggling with an older video card on AGP interface, and not ready to build a new rig soon. The cooling is very good also. Very good warranty. Buy it! You won't be sorry, if you have a good PSU and you follow installation proceedures. One other thought, you might want more and faster ram if you are trying to run Win 7.
