Pros: Arrived quickly and just in time for the heat! My second A/C unit from New Egg. Well packed and easy installation. Unit to me is very quiet. When the compressor engages there is little difference in sound. The unit easily cools a large room and the 10.7 EER is great on the wallet. Price was great!

Cons: First don't be fooled by the recommended window width as that is at the point where the unit sits on the inner-most part of the winow with the adjustable sides fully retracted. The actual unit itself extending through the window will easily fit any standard window. Second and very minor is the remote is not backlit and needs roomlight to be able to operate, but still a nice feature.

Pros: Simple daylight shots in program mode seemed fine. The fact that any information you need regarding the operation is tucked away on a CD is a definite drawback. Newegg was great in taking this back without incident so I will definitely try this again with another model.

Cons: I found indoor situations or distance situations difficult to focus correctly. The pictures were grainy and frankly I bought this type of camera to get high end results in a point and shoot format. I have a small another point and shoot that only has a 3X zoom so I wanted a greater zoom, but that camera outperformed this in low light situations. There is no "available light" setting so it always was looking for a flash assistance.

Overall Review: The camera also seemed to set the resolution on it's own. I could not figure that out but even with the lower rez and using a high speed (data transfer) memory card I always got a "please wait" after taking a shot so there was no opportunity for continues shooting.
