Pros: I have used Samsung ssd hard drives to upgrade several laptops over the years because they perform very well to turn a slow computer into a much much faster unit. The Samsung downloadable free software makes it easy to clone my old drive. They may cost a bit more in some cases, but its definitely worth the investment.
