Simple product
Pros: it works! good for when you need a short one
Cons: They fooled me with the length, fortunately, it still worked for me. The cable is 4 inches. When they say 6 inch cable, they are including the length of the connectors, which are each 1 inch. If you think you need -like I did- that you need 6 inches of flexible cable to work with, this one may be too short
timbrwlf55
Pros: The headphones did seem to have a cool sounding surround sound emulator
Cons: SPDIF does not work. SPDIF only has 2 channel support if it does work. Why put it on the card?
Overall Review: after trying to enable/activate/configure/whatever the SPDIF unsuccessfully for an hour, I went online for a solution, and learned that >when< the SPDIF out >does< operate, it does so with only 2 channel support. My MB SPDIF out has 8 channel support, albeit with glitchy clicks and pops, which is why I was looking for dedicated sound. But glitchy 8 channel sound trumps 2 channel support that doesnt even work. If your plans were to use the SPDIF/Toslink out, this is the wrong card.
Good Stuff
Pros: Nice size to make it easy to type with, matches Samsung styling perfectly, excellent battery life Good Android specialty keys
Cons: If it could hinge to the tablet, it would practically turn the device into a compact sized laptop. But it doesn't hinge to it. It would be awesome if it had a backlight feature. It looks and feels like leather, but it doesn't smell like leather. It's slightly more pricey than it should be.
Beautiful
Pros: Excellent cooling, my CpU temps are 10-13 degrees cooler now. I found the fan to be strong and silent. Very cool looking in the case. Also
Cons: More setup required for this one than just slapping on a HSF. my motherboards backplate was double-side taped to the board, harrowing to remove... I do wish there was a way to visually know that the pump was running, like maybe a power LED. (It makes no sound.) I guess the fact that the computer didnt burn up was confirmation of that.
Overall Review: Also, I'm glad we dont have to worry about cracking CPU dies anymore. I still felt nervous on the initial install tightening down the bracket. I added two Rosewill 120mm fans, push/pull to increase cooling. Working really great, too bad these fans arent as quiet as the included fan was.
Sweet
Pros: Works great, reduced GPU temps by 12-15 degrees C. Silent fan, only whooshing sound. I set the fan full blast. Whooshing sound doesnt bother me at all. Makes me feel comfy.
Cons: Ok, so it was a little scary taking apart the video card. But I did it with no problems. Also, these are a little expensive. I bought 2 for my SLI setup, but I think the cooling was worth the expense.
Overall Review: I'm hoping I can use these coolers on future video card purchases. They do cool REALLY well. I dont have scaldingly hot video cards in my computer anymore. I stopped overclocking my PCs many years ago, but I'll bet I could get back into it with these coolers.
I like it
Pros: Works great. Inexpensive. 7 ports. Powered. LED on the top. Use it with or without the base. The base is weighted. Use it with or without the power. Small, good for travel. Swap out the 'downstream' cable if you want a longer/shorter cable, standard mini usb plug.
Cons: Well, my WD Passport didnt work with just a couple other peripherals plugged into it without the power hooked up. I have a cheapie unpowered 4-port hub that powers my Passport no matter what stuff I plug into it. It may be the LED that's drawing power(?) No problem though, if you hook up the power. Oh, I wish the power cable was a bit longer. I think its 3 feet. And the transformer wants to cover 2 plugs on my power strip.
Overall Review: I still love it
