Pros: Light, bright and tight. Works well for streaming online lessons, words and music. Used for online learning and Zoom concerts Has done anything we've asked of it.
Cons: None that I know of.
Overall Review: Because of the "Rona, puddin' had to start teaching online.
Pros: Big for a mid size. Nice color contrast with the black and white. The NZXT software works pretty well for the most part. Easy to build in most of the time
Cons: The white bar makes cable management difficult for some mobo's. They've only one slot besides the main one for more room and that's right next to the other. I was forced to route my power cable and GPU cables around this bar in order to reach my Aurous Master mobo and Red Devil video card. You either have to drill holes in the case or remove the separator altogether for proper cable management. Check the size of you mobo BEFORE buying this case....
Overall Review: Not as good a case for cable management or airflow as I'd hoped.
Pros: I'm not The Flash so I can't tell with the naked eye how much faster this is than my old Samsung EVO but it feels faster. Used the mobo's cooler and couldn't be happier. Also comes at a great price!
Cons: Could've shipped a little faster but not slow enough to dock them an egg.
Overall Review: Good, solid Gen 4 storage. Worth the extra bling to have the latest and greatest.... until PCIe 5 comes along I suppose.
Pros: Fast stable power... Fully modular and works like a charm. Braided cables are a nice touch as well.
Cons: None that I can find right now...
Overall Review: Well made power supply, versatile and easy to use.
Pros: Updated from an 8350 and all I can say is wow. So fast, does everything I ask of it. Doing ripping, converting and editing this thing is an absolute BEAST! Couldn't be happier! Well one AMD
Cons: None... cept AMD offered a rebate right after I bought this thing and I missed out!
Overall Review: You can't do any better at this price point! Gobs and gobs of pure power!!!!!!
Pros: I thought my old 29 incher was big... this thing is amazing. I can see EVERYTHING, run EVERYTHING maxxed out and Puddin' thinks the red and black accents are cool. Shipped with a display port cable, shame I didn't know this before purchasing one..... I'm sooooo happy! Got it as an open box from Beach Camera in Jersey so it arrived in just 2 days with no extras for fast shipping. Got my refund back quick after it died.
Cons: Died after two days... well not dead but had some problems that couldn't be rectified. Boxed it up and shipped it back.
Overall Review: Great monitor... when it works...
Pros: It works.. most of the time
Cons: In Win7 I could listen to music in glorious Hi Fidelity and watch movies or game in 5.1 DTS surround. In Windows 10 I no longer have that option. I know most people and all competitive gamers use headsets.. I do not and don't want to. Why nerf it if it wasn't broken. Now my speakers and receiver are all but useless to me in my computer room. I despise this company with all my heart and soul. Maybe it's time to Linux?
Overall Review: I hate this company and its OS with a passion known only by those who know what they're doing in PC computing!
Pros: My last mobo was a mess. Of course it was from the Dark Ages when AMD was a distant second in the cpu field. And mobo manufacturers treated AMD and it's product like a red headed step child. Bad headers... clunky bios' you name it Team Red didn't have it. Boy is it different now. The tables have turned, the worm has turned and they're ice skating down below as well speak. This boards a monster, great power well cooled. All the options you could wan the the icing on the top?? PCIE Gen 4! Ahhh it's good to be the King!
Cons: Wish I could've gone with the extreme.
Overall Review: Glad I supported AMD during its dark times since Athalon. They've really turned themselves around and given us our first real breakthrough in hardware in almost a decade. And now the Mobo manu's have joined the fun. Good on em!
Pros: Cool, quiet, well mad and fast... fast... fast! No it won't beat a 2080 but it's close at less than half the price. Lets me run everything in Ultra or Max. I couldn't be happier. Love the Red Devil logo, Puddn' thinks it's sweet!! New Radeon software and drivers have eliminated most of the driver issues.... I've experienced no problems. Would buy again... no doubt.
Overall Review: Glad I supported AMD during its dark times since Athalon. They've really turned themselves around and given us our first real breakthrough in hardware in almost a decade. Good on em!
Pros: If you're migrating from an older machine to a new one.. skip all the hassles... take the old drives, slap em in this baby and have at it. Transferred thousands of album in less than an hour at freaky fast speeds.
Cons: Instructions could've been clearer.
Overall Review: Migrating from my Win 7 rig to my new AMD Monster rig was a breeze with this baby!
Pros: Big, large, smooth... flat. FREE!
Cons: Whatcha want fer nuthin? A rubber biscuit?
Overall Review: Nice freebie for a change... real nice..
Pros: Mesmerizing colors and patterns... oh and it's fast stable ram in my Ryzen 3900 build will be buying two more to complete the pattern! LOL!
Cons: Not free.... sigh...
Overall Review: If you want some of the fastest, stablest ram for your Ryzen Rig you should get these sticks... If you also want a little bling to go along with it... get this kit...
Pros: Good fans for cooling.. nice lighting on the cooler ring. You can twist the ring to get the NZXT straight. Fits in my NZXT Case and runs on Cam. Haven't really pushed it yet but it seems to be working as advertised.
Cons: Well there's no LED fans available for extra "bling". And it's a bit difficult to mount with fans on the inside with my mobo set up. Little things actually..
Overall Review: A good product well done. Perhaps a bit pricey compared to other makes but I like what it does.
Pros: The ole lady's laptop has no optical drive. Brought this as an alternative. Works fine... powered off the USB port so no need for a power source... Works fine for her and me since my optical drive stopped working on my desktop.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: With the loss of optical and floppy drive bays on desktops you're gonna need this if you want to install media or rip/burn CD's. It's a shame but at least there's a solution...
Pros: After finding my Arctic Silver had baked on like spackle and was causing high temps on my CPU I went out and got this. Once I pried the cooler off the chip and cleaned it up I used this solution... It's been working like a champ ever since. No muss no fuss...
Cons: They need to tell you what size pad you need by CPU designation the first one I bought was too small, still it gets the job done.
Overall Review: I've been building rigs since the 486-33 days. This is the first true innovation I've seen in years... It simply eliminates all that muck and goop! Huzzah!
Pros: Light, fast, versatile (long as you're not looking to game) and does what I bought it for. It's a gift for a lifelong "fruit lover" but she's finally getting the hang of it. SSD really makes it fly!
Cons: No optical drive nor a package deal to get one.. You're at the mercy of the internet.
Overall Review: I'd say if you're looking for a laptop for grandma or your kid going off to college you could really do much worse than this one.
Blazing fast boots (compared to her old IBM Thinkpad trying to run Win10)
A relative "good" deal.
Cons: Wish I'd waited until the new Ryzen desktop chips had launched... could've gotten this last generation tech for a song.
Finger pad while wide is finnicky. She went out an bought a wireless mouse immediately.
Overall Review: I bought it to bring a little old lady friend into THIS century. Her IBM coal fired Thinkpad was driving ME nuts. She's no gamer so the specs didn't need to be too outlandish... You should see the smile on her face when her new laptop boots in seconds not minutes (not kidding). Good job AMD!
Pros: Worked well till it stopped.
Cons: Tried to play a BluRay disc for the first time. Tried to read it then died. Works intermittently but can't find the drive anywhere, not even in the bios. Piece of garbage.
Pros: Small, well made (dropped several times already), and works like charm. Overnight charges now take less than two hours. Gets used nightly and has made family life much easier...
Cons: None so far!
Overall Review: Make sure you get good, thick charging cables, 24 gauge I believe, to make this sucker really hum.
Pros: Small, light, unobtrusive. Seems much more durable than other's I've used in the past. Works VERY well. I'm not sure of its longterm durability hence on 4 stars.
Cons: Slow to read sometimes. Also all metadata doesn't appear on the stick.
Pros: Large, quick, stable and sexy. Man I just love this thing. Yeah I still move programs and data to a larger, slower, dat drive but with this beasty I don't HAVE to move it. Blindingly fast for gaming and never a hiccup. Can't do no better'n this.
Cons: Are you kiddin' me? Only con was the price. Dropped right after I bought it but hey... C'est la vie...
Overall Review: Soon to be the sweet spot for gamers.
Pros: Solid, well built card. Not sure if it's quieter than stock cards but it's very quiet when not under load. Plays all games flawlessly and works well with Dual DVI and my 29-inch wide load monitor.
Cons: Hard to get power cables situated on top of the card. It took a lot of finagling and work to get them situated. Under gaming load it sounds like an F-16 on take off! HIS is known for "quiet cooling" not so on this bad boy. Long and heavy. Make sure you've a case and Mobo that can support this sucker.
Overall Review: Should've done more research into the noise levels on this class of card. Makes me long for my old 7750.
Pros: Used these in my latest build. They're fast, stable run cool and look smart in the case. There's nothing much more you could ask for.
Cons: There are cheaper alternatives, but then there always are. I had to set the speed manually on my ASUS Sabretooth MB but that's not the memorie's fault.
Overall Review: 16 gigs IS "the sweet spot"
Pros: Does what is designed to do I suppose.
Cons: Windows Defender vs. Microsoft Security Essentials mess up. And the planned obsolecence designed into the whole sheebang.
Pros: Plenty of cables, lots of tie downs. Great, heaping gobs power, power and more power. Quiet and cool. Quality fit and finsh. I'm VERY happy with this one thus far.
Cons: None that I've found.
Overall Review: Probably overkill for the components I'm running but I'm happy. Some lights on her might've been nice though...
