Great bang for the buck
Pros: All metal casing. Excellent performance. Cool running.
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: Patience is really a virtue since I got this when it went on sale at Newegg for $50 less! The SSD came in a bubble envelope and not in a box. I was watching YouTube and this drive survived a 3 story toss so I wasn't too worried. Hopefully it'll go on sale again. The Kingston V series has a hard plastic casing unlike this one. I don't know if this Corsair has the latest firmware version that supports TRIM but it seems fast enough and according to Win 7 TRIM is active. I placed this drive on an HP tx1000z with 8gb RAM running Windows 7
Great while it lasted
Pros: Fast
Cons: Died less than a year
Overall Review: The card died on my Galaxy S 4G and all the information was lost. Tried recovering the data but the computer couldn't recognized it thus lost all my info on the card. Tried re-formatting it but wasn't being recognized. Tried low level formatting and it was still dead. Have other micro SD card and they're still working.
Awesome camera
Pros: Full frame, full sized sensor. Robust quality built camera. Quick and accurate focusing. Low high ISO noise. Live view. Long battery life. Fast charging battery. Ergonomically placed controls. Large, sharp LCD screen. Low shutter noise. Sensor sensitive in low light. Weather resistant, has good weather sealing. Versatile.
Cons: Expensive, but worth it. Heavy. Can't use EF-S lenses
Overall Review: I've always wanted a full frame digital camera and when Newegg had this one for $150 off I went ahead and bought it. I've used FF film cameras before and miss it. I also have a 60D which though have it's merits there's no comparison with a FF camera. The battery is the same as the 60D so it'll save me from buying new type of batteries. The mode control is different as there's only creative, custom and one automatic picture mode. There's no 'landscape, portrait, low-light, close-up' modes as in other cameras. This camera is more geared to pros and semi-pros so it's up to the user to customize each mode.
Great camera, great deal
Pros: This is a robust solidly built camera and the quality shows. It's also a weather resistant (NOT weatherproof) camera so you can use it in bad weather provided you use the appropriate 'L' lens with it. Focusing is fast and accurate. Also the camera menus is very easy to learn.
Cons: Since it is robust and solid, it's on the heavy side compared to the polycarbonate bodied cameras such as the 60D. If you use this camera with an 'L' lens be prepared because it really gets heavy. Depending on your stamina hiking with this lens will be a bit difficult in the long run.
Overall Review: You can read it's features so I won't go there. I already have the Canon 60D and I will be using the 5DII as a primary or secondary camera while traveling or on a regular basis. The reason I got this camera was because of the full frame viewfinder. APS-C viewfinders are fine but nothing compares to FF. Newegg had this camera for $150 off so went ahead and bought it. Though it was free shipping unfortunately it didn't apply to Hawaii but then again the shipping was reasonable. Newegg delivered this camera within a week and watching the delivery status online really helped a lot.
Great Windows Tablet
Pros: Compact, lightweight, great battery life, great screen, responsive
Cons: A bit pricy. Limited SSD memory.
Overall Review: I wanted a Windows tablet so I can use my existing programs with it. When I first got it I deleted the unneeded programs that came with it which wasn't that numerous in the fist place. I decided to delete programs rather than clean unstall because I've learned that sometimes there are included programs that's specific to that computer and is not included in the recovery disc. I've loaded MS Office 2007 Professional, Streets and Trips, Sling Player, Adobe Acrobat (full version), Netflix and others and still have 8gb space left. I have 16gb Class 10 SDHC for data storage. I do recommend taking off the protective screen cover because the screen looks washed out with it on and besides the screen is much more responsive with it off. I hardly use the included keyboard because the screen keyboard suffices. I hope to upgrade the SSD in the future. It's an overgrown PDA but it's worth it.
Excellent deal
Pros: Saw this item and went for it and with the $20 rebate it was really a bargain. Now I can play bluray discs on my laptops that don't have a bluray player and can bring it along on trips. I like the blue color and the player looks solid. So far no problems. Just waiting for my rebate.
Cons: I have an Asus eeepc1000h and it doesn't play bluray very well but I don't know if it will play better with the new CPUs.
Overall Review: Could be slimmer but oh well, it works
