Does what it says
Pros: Really quiet, and no vibration thanks to the rubber things used to mount it.
Cons: Could move a bit more air, but then it wouldn't be quiet.
Overall Review: Rubber holders are kinda tricky to get installed.
Died
Pros: Very quiet. supplies enough power for my 4 DIMMS and Opteron 180 1 DVD-ROM and 1 SATA-HDD a X1950Pro and a ATI Theater 550 PCI with one Zalman 120mm and 1 Zalman 80mm fan. It was just dead when I got home today oh well. I'm going to try and RMA through zzf but who knows where that will get me.
Cons: Died after one year one month of 24/7/365 + up to now in 2008
Overall Review: It has the 4-Pin molex connector for EIDE drives. I'm missing all of my DVR shows.
Works great, Love it
Pros: It's a very good CPU, I was torn between this one and a slower X2 and decided on this one as it was for a 75% gaming machine, Upgraded from a 3000+ and the difference is very noticeable especially in BF2. Plays just as good as my Opteron 180 in single threaded apps. And shipping was amazing, I bought it one day and got free shipping which in most cases on other sites is longer and got it at 2pm then next day which was very helpful becuase any later and I wouldn't have been able to install it for a couple weeks. Thanks newegg
Cons: Did not come with a heat sink but that is fine because my girl had a Zalman one anyways so that was fine. Only other gripe was no A64 Badge.
Overall Review: Not much else to state, but the price was perfect and if only my dual core version was twice as much lol. and in this case you don't get what you pay for, you get more. Definitely one of my best purchases on newegg.
Cool ever so slightly
Pros: Looks good, Cools well with out airflow, but with my case, "cooler master centurion CAC5" it has a mesh front in front of the drive bays and I see that dust gets on it so I know that a good amount of air is flowing over it.
Cons: A little bit pricey for what you get.
Overall Review: I wish it had free shipping on this item and others in this price range.
Best HDD I've owned
Pros: It runs fast even on SATA 150, Run's cool in my HTPC with low CFM fans. Way faster then my Maxtor SATA HDD, and I didn't notice a difference in my 80GB WD IDE (good drive)
Cons: From what I understand if your motherboard does not support NCQ you can't run it so, that's one reason I bought this, but oh well hopefully my next board will support it.
Overall Review: I am planning on getting another one of these dedicated to TV
Toledo Not Denmark but Okay
Pros: Works great, fast, and out of the box (but that's a mobo pro. Nice sticker.
Cons: Runs a tad hotter then my A64 3000+ but that is to be expected. Also I could not get Powernow to work with this and my DFI RDX200 but I use F@H anyways so that's not a big issue for me.
Overall Review: Core is actually a Toledo not a Denmark as AMD never released a Denmark S939 CPU from what I have been told. I wish there was an Athlon X2 in stock at this speed I would have gotten that instead.
