Works great

Pros: The unit runs Linux (debian flavor), and I found how to ssh into the unit from doing a little web searching. It already has NFS running, and by adding regular user accounts I can rsync over the network. So far it has been flawless.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I wish it had built in wireless.
No go on Tyan S2895

Pros: It's a Seasonic.
Cons: Bought this to replace a dead power supply in our server with a Tyan S2895 motherboard and two opteron 275's. Installed it, and it wouldn't work - fans would start to move, and then nothing. I've heard about problems with some Seasonics and DFI boards a couple of years ago, and it seems to have hit me now. I've searched on the web, and there are others with the same problem with the S2895 motherboard. Supposedly Seasonic is planning to fix it but either it doesn't work, or this is a pre-fixed one. BTW, bought on 3 Jan 2007.
Overall Review: I like seasonics, and I'll probably use them in my next box that I'm about to build in the next week or so.
Updated processor

Pros: Picked this up from a local store. This now comes with the AMD C-60 processor - while it still runs at 1 GHz, it has turbo modes for the processor and graphics. The processor turbo mode is 1.3Ghz, and the graphics turbo mode bumps the graphics speed up by 50%.
Cons: No capslock key indicator light.
Nice Drive

Pros: good price; good reviews
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: Ordered it a week ago. Was delivered using free shipping in 37 hours. Seems to be running at about the same temp as my other drives (fairly cool), and no noticable additional noise to my system. Packing was fine - wrapped in bubble wrap & peanuts, and didn't slide around in the shipping box.
Works great in a proper case

Pros: I have this installed in an Antec P180 case, and a Athlon64 3000 processor, and with the case fans set on low, I get 38-40c temps with a moderate-high workload workload. No fan on the cooler.
Cons: In a case with poor airflow, it wouldn't do so well. The Antec P180 has an exhaust fan in the back and top, perfect for a fanless cooler.
