Works great

Pros: - Faster than 5400RPM Drive - Quiet - Easy to install
Cons: - None
Overall Review: I got this drive to replace my burgeoning 40GB drive in my PS3. It took me about 2 hours (including backup and restore) to complete the swap. It works great. Much faster.
Good...for a while
Comments: I got this a few weeks ago and at first it rokked. It has huge range and feels good to the touch. I do have some gripes with the scroll wheel being all "zero resistance" an all. It sucks for changing weapons in games. But beyond that, the thing just flat out died on me. I got up to get a soda, come back and poof...dead. Changed batteries, checked connections, no dice. Very dissapointed. Not NewEggs fault. NewEgg Rokks!!
Decent board
Comments: When I was shopping for a Mobo, I thought this one was a great deal for the features included at that price. It definitely is full of over clocking options and easily took my Barton 2500+ to 3200+ speeds. However, with over clocking comes bigger cooling solutions, and this is where it loses a star. I bought a Silent Boost for my cooling solution and had to alter it to get it to fit. If you look at the pictures you will see two larger green colored capacitors oriented diagonally from the corner of the ZIF Socket near the Northbridge. The Silent Boost WILL scrape them, likely scraping into the plastic coating, when installing. After it is installed it will rest against one, slightly bending it to the side. I ground off the corner of the aluminum shroud and it fit great with no touching. Still a pain though. Also, for all the over clocking options, you would think they would have added the +12v four pin power socket and the four through-bolt heatsink mounting holes. No water cooling here! Still, it's a great performing board for the price. Of course NEWEGG ROCKS!!
More than expected

Comments: You cannot beat the performance of this for this price. So I didn't get a fancy box...BIG DEAL. It still came with all the accessories, driver disc, and powerDVD. The only difference is the retail package includes a box and the Redline overclocking utility, which is nothing more than a souped up version of Rage3Dtweak. I did notice some pixel corruption when trying to clock this thing to XT speeds. I added some Tweakmonster RAMsinks and the flashy pixels went away. Went from GF4Ti4600 and 3DMark03 score of 1692 to this and 5855! Nothing else in my system was changed. Image quality is also much MUCH better than my old nVidia. This is my first Radeon and I wish I had tried it sooner.
Woot!

Nice drive
Comments: I picked up this drive a short while ago and it seems to be pretty good. I've only had one problem with skipping video on a recorded DVD when played in my PC. It played fine in my home DVD player though. It didn't like my TDK RW discs but seems to work well with some of the cheaper ones. I've made about 12 DVDs now with maxell dvd+r and no coasters yet! I really like the fact that this drive is over one inch shorter in length than most standard disc-based media drives. It gives my top blow-hole fan more room to breathe.
