Great card

XFX GeForce GTX 260 896MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card GX260NADF9
XFX GeForce GTX 260 896MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card GX260NADF9

Pros: Awesome processing power - scored over 11000 on 3DMark06. I am able to run all my games at max video settings running 1680x1050 resolution. Also overclocks very well, was able to easily match the clocks of another vendor's "For-The-Win edition" card. Not really necessary though as it is more than competent at stock. Also is very quiet, cannot hear the card over the gentle whisper of my case fans.

Cons: Power hungry at load make sure you have a PSU that exceeds 500W.

Overall Review: Great price.

OK-But not great

ASUS GeForce 6600 256MB DDR PCI Express x16 SLI Support Graphics Card EN6600/TD/256M/Silencer
ASUS GeForce 6600 256MB DDR PCI Express x16 SLI Support Graphics Card EN6600/TD/256M/Silencer

Comments: This is a nice card, but like the other reviews, it can get hot and unstable. I swapped the heatsink for the new V-1 and now the card is very happy and so am I.

Samsung LS34J550WQNXZA 34" 3440 x 1440 Ultra WQHD 21:9 2K Resolution 4ms 75Hz 2x HDMI DisplayPort AMD FreeSync Eye Saver Flicker Free LED Backlit Monitor

Pros: Large screen, can replace small dual-monitor setup

Cons: very basic adjustments and menu options

Overall Review: Would recommend for a general work monitor

Fantastic Value

AMD Ryzen 3 3300X - Ryzen 3 3rd Gen Matisse (Zen 2) Quad-Core 3.8 GHz Socket AM4 65W Desktop CPU Processor - 100-100000159BOX
AMD Ryzen 3 3300X - Ryzen 3 3rd Gen Matisse (Zen 2) Quad-Core 3.8 GHz Socket AM4 65W Desktop CPU Processor - 100-100000159BOX

Pros: Paired with Asrock B550 Extreme4 -- This processor is smooth and fast. Handled memory (Infinity Fabric) overclocking with ease. Running memory at 3733Mhz -- Gskill memory sticks. Did not try overclocking processor itself as is a bit pointless for regular use/gaming. Most overclocks will not match or exceed performance of stock settings with the built in precision boost.

Cons: None -- is best bang for the buck processor around. (If you can find in stock)

Overall Review: Highly recommended.

Beautiful Board (Follow-up review)

ASRock B550 EXTREME4 AM4 AMD B550 ATX AMD Motherboard
ASRock B550 EXTREME4 AM4 AMD B550 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Great layout and great looks. Paired with 3300X. Good overclocking options -- Running two 8Gb Gskill memory 3600Mhz sticks at stable 3733Mhz. Easy to work with, only had to clear CMOS once while overclocking Infinity Fabric, otherwise just resets itself, which is nice. (Did not OC processor, which is rather pointless anyway with Ryzen chips)

Cons: Newish board, so still dealing with early BIOS revisions -- which was easy to load most current BIOS and BIOS is perfectly fine other than list of certified memory still thin. Which meant the XMP setting on my Gkill memory sticks did not work period == is no fault of board or memory sticks == just not yet certified for board. So had to use Ryzen memory calculator and enter proper timings/voltages manually, then worked like a charm. So either buy already certified memory -- or do your homework.

Overall Review: Highly recommended board. Much better equipped than X570 boards at same price point. "This review for ASRock review rebate program." (initial review)

DDR2 1000? Yeah, if you like CAS 6...

OCZ Platinum Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ2P10004GK
OCZ Platinum Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ2P10004GK

Pros: 4 gigs of memory, great deal after rebate. Heatspreader is bright...shiny...very nice.

Cons: Will not pass Memtest at DDR2 1000 at advertised specs. Will pass at CAS 6 though -- but who wants that? Will keep them but I am running them at 5-5-5-15 at DDR2 910 (1.9V). At less than $25 apiece after my rebate deal....mmmm...OK.

Overall Review: Contacted OCZ Forums about the issue and got this response: "Hi, please set the following options in the BIOS and test again : 5-6-6-18 TRC 30 tRFC 195ns timings and 2.1V. Too low tRC might give you this problem." The only problem is that my BIOS does not allow a TRC of 30; the max setting is 26. There is no option for tRFC. The comical irony to all this is that when you run CPU-Z you find out that the modules have an EPP setting that is rated 5-5-5-15 TRC 26 2.2V @ DDR2 1066 (and the OCZ warranty only covers up to 2.15V). Yeah right.... moving on....
