Seems good for the price

Pros: Took install of Ubuntu quite easily and quickly. Boot time went from 1 min to 10 seconds. My I5 gen 7 laptop had a mechanical drive.
Cons: None yet.
Overall Review: I've only had it for a few days so can't comment on longevity of it. Has changed my boot up time from almost a minute to about 10 seconds.
Works ok

Pros: Fits in floppy drive area. So if you have a slim case or one that folds and only have 1 cd drive this will help. like it has me. Black.
Cons: traded 2 usb for 1 usb. Usb does not work for any of my pen drive (pny, kingston,hp,lexar, sony) luckly i have 6 in back. did not come with interchangeable faceplate. Never tried floppy.
Overall Review: will by from diffrent maker next time.
Does it's job not super fast

Pros: Works
Cons: Not super fast. Hard drive just attaches to the control board and slides in. Doesn't have any support other than guide rods cuts in the outer enclosure shell.
Overall Review: I used a green Western digital 1tb and 500mb drive that I had on my NAS. Its dated 2004 but used very little. I had an issue with the network drive or interface so I bought this so I could test out the drive. I tested two WD green drives and speeds are both under 100mbs in my 3.1 USB slot. I have another 4tb coming in the mail that's dated 2018 so I'll test it out when it come. The enclosure does it's job but took about 5 hours to delete and reformat a 500mb drive. Isn't a bad drive.
Does it's job.

Pros: Affordable. Raspberry Pi 5 loads it.
Cons: Not the fastest.
Overall Review: Isn't the fastest but it's affordable for good temp solution. I used it for my pi 5 while my NVME hat was in the mail. I used another to store pictures from my phone as space was getting low. I can't comment on lifespan as I'm not constantly using it or rewriting on it.
Works on Linux Ubuntu 22 & 24 as well as Windows 10

Pros: Neat retro look. Easy to use Recognized on Windows and Linux. Recognized on Raspberry pi 3b+ and 5 Recognized on Recalbox 9.2 Recognized on Raspberry Pi OS
Cons: Don't think it's USB 3.0 as it can start at 400mbs a sec but then downwardly spiraling quickly to around 70mbs-15mbs. I only use Ubuntu 24 to do transfers. Transferring 62gb at 33.8mbs isn't fun but I guess it could be worse. Not a fan of the cord being something I don't have readily available just in case I lose it. It slides easily as it's very lightweight.
Overall Review: I needed an external enclosure as my old one was only SATA I and II I bought years ago and wasn't reading any of my drives I had laying around. This helped me identify dead or dieing drives. I haven't tested it out on un initialize or unformatted drives as most enclosures will only work with initialized or formatted drives. Plug and play with Ubuntu, windows 10, recalbox 9.2 and raspberry pi OS using a pi 3b+ for under $10 I guess you can't go wrong
fits snugly

Pros: fits snuggly but isnt overly tight
Cons: not high grade materials, dont expect much. with it had slots for cards or memory cards
Ships fast from California.
I've ordered three different orders from Orico and all have shipped fast. Says ship's from China but tracking is from California and arrives quickly. The 2.5 USB enclosure works great. The 512 GB SSD is fast my boot time went from about 1 min to 10 seconds. And awaiting the 3.5 USB enclosure. I haven't had any issues with their products yet and am probably going to buy from again. I'd love to have one of their trooidon's or NVME.
very good support
recived item that was damaged it shipment that stopped working, called their number and the nice lady got my rma underway. quick turn around for replacement. looking forward to reciving my replacement
