Great SSD!

ADATA Premier Pro SP900 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) ASP900S3-128GM-C
ADATA Premier Pro SP900 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) ASP900S3-128GM-C

Pros: Easy to install. No firmware updates required. No BSOD. It was literally plug & play. Significant upgrade over mechanical drives.

Cons: None. There has been zero problems.

Overall Review: I got exactly what I had hoped for. I bought this over the cheaper 120 GB version simply for the extra 8 GB of storage space. Adata did not disappoint. I installed it and a fresh install of W7 in 30 minutes. Since then, I've not had a single problem. This is how it should be done. This is my second Adata purchase that has exceeded my expectations. If I had their T-shirt, I'd wear it.

Great Keyboard

Perixx PERIBOARD-512IIB, Ergonomic Split Keyboard - Wired USB Interface - Natural Ergonomic Design - Bulky Size 512x264x62 mm - Black

Pros: I've been using the MS Natural Keyboard Elite for many years, just so you know where I'm coming from. Nice keyboard with a decent build quality - pretty solid and not very 'rickety/creaky', a little more solid than the MS. The keys feel good, easy to press and are responsive. Fairly quiet. The split design is similar to the MS. Plug, reboot, and play - no drivers necessary. Not much more to say.

Cons: It's smaller, more compressed than the MS. If you are used to the MS Elite, you will have some transition issues or if you simply have large hands. If you use the L-Alt key with your thumb, it's very awkward to use now. I wish this keyboard were larger.

Overall Review: With the MS Elite gone, there are few choices for a 'direct' replacement, so this will have to do. Good keyboard, just wish it were larger. I have not and probably will not use the top 'shortcut' buttons, so I can't comment to them. This is a USB only keyboard, not PS/2. Overall, I'm 4 stars happy. Once I get used to the compact design, it will be fine.

ADATA Premier Pro SP900 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) ASP900S3-128GM-C
ADATA Premier Pro SP900 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) ASP900S3-128GM-C

Pros: Rock solid. Fast (sata III). Easy to install.

Cons: None, other than I need a larger one.

Overall Review: This is a follow up review from May 2012. I have not had a single issue with this SSD. Every time I boot my computer it works its magic each and every time, and this is a heavy-use computer, not some email/FB checker. It's still fast. Why can't everything I buy work like this? I am very satisfied and have been for over a year. I will be buying another, only with a larger capacity.

Great card!

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7950 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card 100352-3L
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7950 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card 100352-3L

Pros: Decent build quality, quiet, surprisingly powerful, 3GB of RAM, great price, 3 free games.

Cons: None so far. It is large, so make sure it fits your case. You will need 2x 6-pin connectors. No video cables. I would recommend a larger case with great airflow, as this card will vent into the case.

Overall Review: I was a bit hesitant after looking at many benchmarks of various cards, but ultimately my wallet helped me make the decision. I upgraded from a nvidia 470 that still played modern games fairly well. But wow, what a difference! Compared to that card, this one is a beast. I have yet to hear the fans on this thing, whereas the 470 sounded like a hair dryer. All games, max settings, superb framerates, 1920x1200 res. A heavily modded Skyrim is pushing the VRAM limits at 2.6+GB and there is no texture load lag at all. I have yet to OC, as I haven't needed to do so. Bottom line: great performance at a great price; I am very satisfied with this purchase and happy to have not spent $400 or more.

Really nice case!

LIAN LI Lancool PC-K62 Black 0.8 mm SECC, Plastic + Mesh ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
LIAN LI Lancool PC-K62 Black 0.8 mm SECC, Plastic + Mesh ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: A very well-built case! Thick metal, nice paint job, roomy, quiet, and overall excellent design with options make this case a pleasure to work with. Not too big, not too small, it's just right.

Cons: It may claim to be a "tool-less" design, but you still need a philliips screwdriver to install the motherboard screws unless you have tiny fingers. Aside from that, it is!

Overall Review: This case is a significant step up from my old Lian-Li case. It's a simple, yet intelligently designed case that makes installing your hardware a breeze. Even the blue LED's emit a smooth glow and never distract your eyes. Everything about this case is solid. It's nice to have a case that's elegant rather than over-the-top.

Best CPU for the money!

AMD Phenom II X3 740 Black Edition - Phenom II X3 Heka Triple-Core 3.0 GHz Socket AM3 95W Desktop Processor - HDZ740WFK3DGI
AMD Phenom II X3 740 Black Edition - Phenom II X3 Heka Triple-Core 3.0 GHz Socket AM3 95W Desktop Processor - HDZ740WFK3DGI

Pros: You can't get a better bang for the buck CPU. The 4th core unlocked for me. Significant improvement over an AMD 6000+ x2 chip. Black Edition for OC'ing.

Cons: None. You know the speed and you know how many guaranteed cores. If you want better, pay for it. Dropped $20 in price over Thanksgiving holidays...

Overall Review: Remarkable improvement over the CPU listed above. Gameplay was significantly enhanced going from the 6000+ (OC'd) and two 9800 GT's in SLI to this chip, new RAM, and only 1 9800 GT. Can't wait until my new video card arrives!
