SeaSonic Platinum-1000 1000W ATX12V / EPS12V 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified Full Modular Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Runs efficiently. Runs quiet. Plenty of cables for all your needs, and you only have to us the ones you need. No dangling cables you need to manage and hide.

Cons: Absolutely none.

Overall Review: I see other people complaining about electrical noise in this unit. So i decided to hold off about 2 months on this review, and so far its running as perfect and smooth as the first moment i turned it on perhaps its just bad luck on other users part.

Turtle Beach Ear Force X-52 Circumaural 5.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset

Pros: 1. music, movies, games wont annoy anyone else. 2.fairly comfortable.

Cons: Cant seem to do more then one output. i can use winamp but then nothign else will get sound thru them, such as Counterstrike source +winamp, winamp plays music and css is Silent. Sound quiality soened beter on my 20 dollar 2.1 walmart speakers..

Best CPU for the money

AMD FX-8150 - FX-Series Zambezi 8-Core 3.6 GHz Socket AM3+ 125W Desktop Processor - FD8150FRGUBOX
AMD FX-8150 - FX-Series Zambezi 8-Core 3.6 GHz Socket AM3+ 125W Desktop Processor - FD8150FRGUBOX

Pros: Runs Great. Mine runs at about 50c with minimal cooling during heavy gaming. Haven't had a single problem when tweaking and playing with it in Bios.

Cons: Cons Are the usual for CPU's. Stock cooling isn't great but it works just fine, if you have heat issues look into better ventilation or aftermarket cooling. Stock Thermal is rather Blah, Scrap it off buy something good, your already spending the money spend another 5 dollars.

Overall Review: As i am sure most people know by now. This is not a True 8 core CPU, its 4 cores hyper threaded acting as 8 which is still better then a standard 4.

Nice card

XFX HD-587A-ZNF9 Radeon HD 5870 (Cypress XT) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card w/ATI Eyefinity

Pros: Great Card, Good warranty, Performs like Expected from ATi/AMD. Fps has dramatically improved for me in everything i play went from 27fps in dalaran to 50. Idle @ 39ºc Full load @ 54ºc Running it at 900mhz and 1300 memory, use nothign but standard fans in my case

Cons: Card is freaking Massive... like an inch longer then my 4870 was. Had to work awhile to get it in eventually had to set it in case sideways and slowly turn it til i could seat it.

Overall Review: Great buy if you can afford/ Manage to grab one.

First Asus

ASUS M3A79-T Deluxe AM2+/AM2 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS M3A79-T Deluxe AM2+/AM2 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Nice heat sinks on board, Bios has tons of great features, put it all together and it worked fine with no problems!

Cons: Sata ports, hate it when they face the side and not face upward makes plugging things in a real pain in the but. Only complaint....

Overall Review: Great to use with a phenom II 940

Long Live AMD

AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition - Phenom II X4 Deneb Quad-Core 3.0 GHz Socket AM2+ 125W Processor - HDZ940XCGIBOX
AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition - Phenom II X4 Deneb Quad-Core 3.0 GHz Socket AM2+ 125W Processor - HDZ940XCGIBOX

Pros: 45nm, 3ghz, Easily Overclocked! cheaper then Intel, better processing for the dollar.

Cons: out of box heatsing and fan make mine run 53-55c Idle and 56-61c unerload

Overall Review: Defenitly need a better heatsink and fan if your going to overclock this, i just think 3ghz is good enough for anything i do.
