Great overall so far

MSI MPG Z390M GAMING EDGE AC LGA 1151 (300 Series) Intel Z390 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
MSI MPG Z390M GAMING EDGE AC LGA 1151 (300 Series) Intel Z390 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Easy to add M.2 drives, unlike what I've heard with other mobos (2 M.2 screws included) Solid, polished MSI software apps - Dragon Center, MysticLight for RBG - I usually uninstall apps like these, but these are keepers. I've never been one to get into things like RGB lighting, but I'm learning to like it - I even ordered some individually addressable LED strips for it. The manual was surprisingly good - well organized, easy to read and follow.

Cons: This is a nitpick, but I struggled a bit to align the board with the standoffs in my case. I think they could add some visual cue - color or something - to help the holes stand out more.

WiFi drops? Upgrade firmware!

D-Link Xtreme Gigabit Router (DIR-655) Wireless N300, USB SharePort, Gigabit
D-Link Xtreme Gigabit Router (DIR-655) Wireless N300, USB SharePort, Gigabit

Pros: I just used it as a switch and wireless hub, hanging off of a another router. When it works, it works fine. The web-based admin interface is easy to use. (Note: I have rev A of the hardware.) I love the 1-click WiFi connection for hooking up my WiFi printer.

Cons: It started dropping wi-fi after about 6 months. The problem got worse and worse, until it became unusable. I finally called technical support, and on the second call, a very thorough technician advised me to upgrade to the latest firmware. I did upgrade recently, but to an older version...because the newer ones did not mention a fix for dropped wifi. Long story short, that fixed it, and now I'm back up and running.

Overall Review: I know tech support for devices like this is hit and miss, and I've read negative reviews of D-Link support. But I just want to add one positive vote - the rep was very thorough and patient, and ultimately her advice did fix my problem. I'm fairly technical (build my own PC's, etc.), but it took her convincing me to upgrade the firmware to fix my issue.
