More cores = Faster renders*

Pros: Fast. Excellent for 3D rendering.
Cons: Expensive. Not suitable for every user.
Overall Review: I was a little leery about dropping that much cash on a processor; but I had a large animation gig that was going to need a LOT of rendering done in Lightwave 3D and Modo. This processor smokes all of the other machines in my render farm; often times rendering as many frames as the rest of the farm combined. It is consistently twice as fast as my AMDfx-8350 @4.34GHz and sometimes (calculating radiosity I think) it is way more than twice as fast. When you decide to drop the cash on this proc you have to go first class with all the components. DO NOT combine this CPU with slow RAM or you will be sorry. Having said that... If you aren't sure whether or not your software can take advantage of all the cores don't waste the money.
Terrible Router

Pros: the antennas look nice
Cons: Everything else
Overall Review: I had hoped this device would give me a better netflix experience than the older router I had. It has been just the opposite. While viewing through the XBOX 360 I will have to hard reboot the router up to 4 times just to get through a 30 minute show on Netflix. When it works the speed is OK, but then video will pause to buffer and the XBOX will say xbox live is unavailable at this time. I even went so far as to buy and install a bridge hoping that the xbox WiFi was the problem... It wasn't same results with the bridge.
Garbage

Pros: Speed
Cons: Dies quickly without warning
Overall Review: This was my first eval of an SSD drive. Lured by the potential speed increase I decided to give it a try. The drive is fast. No doubt about it. I spend more time looking at the bios than I do the windows startup screen. After appx 6 months use, one evening I powered off my machine and the next morning, on power up, the drive was dead. What's worse is that when it dies it just disappears as though it's disconnected from the machine so there's no chance to repair it or update firmware or do any of the things I would do to a failing HD. I will try SSD again... just not kingston.
