Solid board
Pros: Onboard HDMI without taking PCIx16 slot. Runs very stable at 1080p using IGP. Lots of connectors that you can hook up your front panel connectors.
Cons: The SATA connectors are side ways as opposed to top-facing. You may have hard time connecting the cable if your case is small (Antec Fusion).
Would be great if it worked
Pros: 1.8" form factor, micro sata interface, fits in your ultralight notebook perfectly, very lightweight, (fast?)
Cons: This drive will not work on many ultralight notebooks as most provides only 3.3V operating voltage. As far as I know, this drive will not work on Samsung X360 and Sony TT. Although I was not able to test how much power it really draws on idle, the stated 0.5W power draw on idle is slightly more than what my current Toshiba 120GB draws. If the stated idle power draw is accurate, it may not then increase your battery life (that is if it actually power up on your notebook).
Overall Review: It is beyond me why they make a 1.8" micro SATA drive that will not work in many if not all ultralight notebooks when ultralights are the primary consumer of 1.8" hdd. Perhaps there are a lot of users that prefers to use 1.8" in their 2.5" notebook or desktop.
