Perfect Storm of price, performance, and quiet

Pros: I upgraded from a GTX 1060 3GB single-fan GPU to this. Overall, using the Passmark benchmark, the 2060 is almost equivalent to the older 1080. I do more GPU pipeline computing than gaming, and for that purpose I'm getting like 3x the previous performance. For gaming it looks like about double the frame rate of the 1060. As for this particular EVGA card, the two-fan unit is SO MUCH QUIETER than the 1060, it's ridiculous. The metal backplate gives it a real solid feel. The price point makes me think this is the perfect card for almost anyone except the extreme got-to-have-the-latest-thing gamer. Heck, buy two.
Cons: I'm struggling to find anything negative to say about the RTX 2060. It didn't install itself, and that's about the only improvement they could have considered. But it was a direct swap-out for the 1060 and I didn't have to mess with drivers and display settings.
Overall Review: I highly recommend this GPU in general, and the EVGA version in particular.
Just OK

Pros: Good size for system with high-end GPU and larger power supply.
Cons: Only one USB 3.0 port on the front. Front headphone jack has flaked out after a little less than 2 years' use - only engages (and cuts out rear speaker jack) intermittently depending on the way the plug is inserted.
Overall Review: I went into the purchase knowing it was a house brand and might have some drawbacks, and recommend you do the same with similar models.
slow boat from China
It took 22 days to receive the item I ordered. Of course, by then I'd already ordered another one from the mega-online-retailer with complimentary 2-day shipping and had it installed and working. It just makes no sense to ship FOB China in this day and age. The long ship time issue needs to be more prominently displayed for products from this seller.
