Brother HL-L2380DW

Pros: - Easy to set up - Network printing works with Ubuntu/Linux (brother has drivers available on website) - Network Scanning works with Ubuntu/Linux - Google Cloud Print for Chrome and sharing printer - Wireless
Cons: - none so far
Overall Review: I just now received this. I timed myself: it took 9 minutes to have it out of the box and on my desk printing. So far I am really liking this printer. Found the drivers for linux scanning/printing and installation was a snap.
Worked for almost 1 year

Pros: Small footprint simple to use quick printing wireless
Cons: the trays seem flimsy and sort of stick out the printer stopped responding to print jobs after a year
Overall Review: I called customer support, and they took my information and said someone would be back in touch with me within 2 days....that was a week ago. As such, I am going to just ditch this printer and get a different brand. I cannot recommed pantum because of the bad customer service.
Hit and miss with Linux. Dont bother.

Pros: -it might work with Windows.
Cons: -does not with with Ubuntu 14.04 on my computer. This is my second one, and neither worked. I thought it might be a power issue, so I spent time with different configurations, on both cards. Both would run for a while, and then drop drives when accessed.
Overall Review: Unfortunately for me, I spent my 30 days trying to make these cards work, so no refund. I will put them online for sale in case someone wants them for Windows.
A disappointment

Pros: !=
Cons: failed
Overall Review: A few years ago I purchased an MSI board that had some issues, so I swore them off... I thought I would give them another try recently since the specs and price seemed like a good dea for this boardl. My mistake. The board sort of worked at first: all but two of the USB ports did not work... The next day the board stopped posting at all. Had to RMA it. Asked for a refund so I can get a board from a different company. I have been doing this for awhile and am no stranger to troubleshooting a system. The board simply failed.
