Pros: Solid build quality. Bright and vibrant screen. Great viewing angles. Amazingly thin. Sound is loud at max volume. Great skin in Touchwiz UX. Front facing camera is good. Google Talk video chat works great, just as good as Facetime. Great battery life. The keyboard dock accessory sold by Samsung works GREAT.
Cons: Lack of memory card slots. Missing I/O options compared to cheaper Android competitors. Expensive, relatively. Poor rear camera when taking stills, or “HD” video recordings.
Overall Review: Great tablet. Easily the best non Apple option when it comes to hardware feel, and UX. Actually js worth the money even in comparison to the cheaper competitors. Lacking things like the lack of a USB host port can be solved by a $20 accessory. This tablet is worth every penny.
Pros: Works great. :)
Pros: Works great, bought it for my brother in laws blackberry and it works just fine.
Pros: Great monitor, colors are crisp, back light is sufficient, DVI or Dsub, Speakers are fine for built in. I bought it for the standard resolution of 1280 x 1024 for an easy setup of different linux distros. I love the auto refresh button, I have this hooked up to a KVM, and sometimes switching between the two monitors the desktop gets shifted to one side by like 10 pixels. Hit the AUTO button and it corrects the misalignment.
Pros: Good standard layout. Media buttons work as expected. Keys have quality feel when pushing on them.
Pros: I've owned these cables for 5 years and I've had no problems with them. Their build quality is great and they still look brand new after being moved from case to case to case. Always being a CD-ROM cable in some build I have in my house. They work awesome. If you need a short single ended cable buy one of these. They come in so handy.
Pros: I've read that floppy drive quality dropped after the 90's. Being that floppy drives used to be very expensive vs how extremely cheap they are now. But this drive has lasted me 4.5 years. It works no matter what motherboard it is plugged into, and has been going strong through 10+ builds in my house. I've used it in my gaming machine, as well as pulling it to do installs on other machines passing through or placed elsewhere in my house.
Pros: Best mouse I've ever used. I love 5 buttons, I love the shape, and the weight of the mouse. I have been using it for 3.5 years already and its still going strong. I should order up a few more of these before they go out of production. BEST MOUSE EVER!
Cons: NONE AT ALL
Overall Review: I used to have issues with mouse wires getting worn out right where they come out of the mouse body. But this mouse model has never had that problem. 3.5 years is a hell of a run for a mouse. Its still going strong and I don't know when it will quit on me. BEST MOUSE EVER!
Pros: Worked great while I was using it, No complaints at all.
Overall Review: Used to use it all the time when transferring large files to my laptop. But now that I got a wireless N network its pretty useless. But it was great when I needed it.
Pros: Been working for 3.5 years, works great, no compliants. Been thru 4 builds of different computers in my house. Moved from my gaming machine to a SFF media machine, then to another media machine after that SFF died, eventually made its way into a friends Socket 754 desktop. Still going strong!
Pros: Been working great for 3 years, No complaints.
Pros: Works good, no overheating.
Pros: Cheap, works pretty good, been using for 1.5 years at time of review without breaking any pins or case.
Cons: Mine doesn't support SDHC, but a year and a half ago when I bought it SDHC didnt exist yet.
Pros: Sounds great. Works great with a Shure Beta 98a microphone going into it. I had a XLR to USB wire which would pop and hiss, then I tried running a XLR to mini-stereo wire into my on-board sound card but that made it so the microphone would overload on its input and would mess up the recording if sung into too loud. Once I bought this X-Fi the microphone would top out at 0db and stop detecting higher sounds that messed up recording. Works awesome.
Overall Review: Great card, also works great with a 2.1 200 watt RMS Speaker system. Sounds awesome.
Pros: Works great, easy hook up of any device to a computer.
Cons: Didn't realize there was a small switch to turn on power on the power cord wire. At first I thought it was defective.
Overall Review: Works great once you familiarize yourself with the product.
Pros: Looks awesome, bright backlight, good colors, fast refresh, has speakers built in.
Cons: Buttons on side of screen annoying to use, you have to rotate the screen to look at side to see what buttons you're going to push. Speakers don't sound that great for music obviously, they are LCD screen speakers. Wide screen resolution not supported by Savage on-board video, had to install a new dedicated video card to plug into monitor to get correct resolution.
Overall Review: Being this monitor is on a XP machine it works just fine once a dedicated video card is installed. On-board video didn't like the resolution, and Linux just hates this resolution. I will be buying another new monitor for my Ubuntu box which will be a non-wide 19" LCD with 1280 x 1024 resolution to make easy display.
Pros: Works great
Pros: Install went fine, no problems seen so far with this "system builders" version.
Cons: Apparently you can only install on one motherboard, which is fine because it is on a laptop which will never have its motherboard upgraded. No tech support provided by Microsoft? Well that's OK, my brother will have to call ME for support. :)
Overall Review: I still love XP over Vista no matter how pretty Vista is. XP is the best running OS for PC hardware. Linux is still too easily broken and doesn't have full driver support, as well as is too diverse with so many different Distros out there, for programs to work flawlessly like they do with XP. You should pick XP over all other options right now, IMO.
Pros: Tiny, very thin and pretty small on length and width. Metal case is very durable. Lanyard loop is on the back end of the case instead of the cap.
Cons: "8gb" label on the body of the thumb drive is a small clear sticker instead of printed on the metal directly. Thats kinda cheap feeling, but for the price I paid I can forgive that.
Overall Review: Awesome little thumb drive. I wish I bought 3 more.
Pros: This works great just like every Logitech keyboard and mouse.
Overall Review: N/A
Pros: Mouse works great, no complaints on shape or weight. Buttons work fine and have enough feedback and tension before clicking. Optical laser works perfectly. Worth every penny.
Cons: I needed to plug it into a KVM switch which only had a PS2 mouse. USB version wouldn't work through a PS2 adapter, luckily I also bought a PS2 Version with the same order. So the USB one became a laptop mouse.
Overall Review: Some people complain about the weight being practically nothing, I think it works awesome. I have no problem getting used to the light weight.
Pros: Mouse works great, no complaints on shape or weight. Buttons work fine and have enough feedback and tension before clicking. Optical laser works perfectly. PS2 works great with my KVM switch which the USB version I also bought wouldn't work through a PS2 adapter. Worth every penny.
Pros: The keyboard worked great, detected fine, the buttons had enough feedback that I didn't get annoyed by it. The backspace being tiny didn't really bother me because it was at the proper reach. I hit it correctly every time. Never attached the wrist wrest to test. Definitely worth the money.
Cons: Non standard layout? Not really a problem for me. It worked great.
Pros: All edges inside are rounded, HD rack is removable, front face comes off easy to slide 5.25" drives out the front on rails, and the front USB tranfer works great. I also like the ducting for the processor fan, as long as your processor fan isnt too tall. I've had to remove the duct on one of my updates on my computer then reinstalled it when i got different hardware. I've built at least 3 computers for me and friends using this case. I was impressed by its design and price the first time, and have used it over and over since.
Cons: None, except maybe that the power supply provided isnt powerful enough for a high end system. But I've gone to using power supplies with "high customer ratings" on newegg in all my systems due to some bad power supplies i've owned frying components. Now I strictly buy the best rated ones on here for all my systems.
Overall Review: I dont mind that it doesnt have a window in the side, or that the face isnt the most fancy. If you're someone like me who upgrades your computer components every few months you'll love this design. I've had too many fancy cases that cut my hands up while installing hardware. All rounded edges is something I sought after. Buy a nice high wattage power supply and good hardware, and who cares what it looks like. Its a high quality case that has lasted me years, and many hardware revamps. I almost want to buy a few to have sitting around just in case newegg stops selling them. The full size version works great too.
