Just wonderful

GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: This just reeks of care. The plugs are all in the right places, the USB ports in the back are offset to give room for larger plugs, and I could go on. The board also looks sleek, so if you are getting a case that you can see inside you won't regret this.

Cons: The SATA ports are a bit hard to access once you have the board installed, so plug in cables FIRST. However, you get a payoff in the form of not having any cable outputs blocked.

Good RAM, bad shipping.

Pros: Great RAM for the price, not exceptional, but cheap.

Cons: The shipping is hilariously bad. It passed my house twice before being tendered over to UPS and then they had to get it back to my state before turning it over.

Gets the job done

AMD FX-6300 - FX-6000 Series Vishera 6-Core 3.5 GHz Socket AM3+ 95W Desktop Processor - FD6300WMHKBOX

Pros: This is an absolutely great buy for it's cost. If you want to game, have calls open, and your own music there's no reason to spring for something better. It's definitely fast, and the 3 (6 artificially) cores have made my computer use far more easy.

Cons: This is an AMD chip, so do bear in mind that it has far lower bandwidth than an Intel chip. If you need to do graphic design or similar proccesses that deal with large amounts of data, this is not for you.

Overall Review: Definitely what I would buy for gaming, it's pretty much the most cost-efficient mid range CPU out there right now.

Truly solid workmanship.

CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-650TX 650 W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply & New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready
CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-650TX 650 W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply & New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: This PSU just feels so much more solid than anything else I've bought, and the cables bundled in tough mesh is a really nice bonus. I had heard good things about Corsair, and have not been disappointed.

Cons: The floppy drive cables are a bit shoddy, but that's just a minor gripe. New cables costs you $3, and it was an extra, so I really cannot care.
