Great motherboard...ASRock does good work

Pros: Built a budget system using this board with an Intel E5200 Pentium Dual Core and 4GB of Corsair DDR2 800 memory. Everything went together great and booted up properly the first time. This combination also makes a great, energy efficient system (doesn't heat up the room or jack up the energy bill--only 46 watts idle, with no video card). This is my second ASRock board, the other has run nice and stable for years, so I expect the same from this. The onboard video is actually pretty decent (as long as you have reasonable expectations...it is just onboard after all). In my experience, over the past 5-6 years, onboard audio is usually quite poor, this is the first board I've owned where I didn't have the urge to install a discrete sound card. The board seems well built, is a good value for the price, and I'm a fan of the G43 chipset so far (on this board, my E5200 crushed the averages of the other E5200 on cpubenchmark's site, and even beat out the average E7200 scores).
Cons: The front USB connections on my Antec mini tower aren't putting out enough power for external hard drives to run. Not sure if this is an issue with the USB headers on this board, or the case itself. The rear USB ports work great with everything though. Overall, this is a minor criticism considering how well everything else on this board works.
Overall Review: The BIOS seems pretty robust if you're into overclocking (I'm not), but I can't speak from experience as to how well this board overclocks. Great board if you just want a stable, solid budget build.
Mediocre

Pros: Cheap price, so you're not out much if it doesn't work well for you. Comparable to McAfee in terms of system resource usage (what I was using before this). I don't have any viruses (but that doesn't mean this was the reason).
Cons: I bought two copies of this, one for my laptop and one for my HTPC. The HTPC kept locking up at the Windows XP Pro start-up screen and I couldn't figure out why (figured it was a hardware problem). Then my laptop did the same thing once a few days later. The common thread was this antivirus program. I uninstalled from my HTPC, no bootup issues since. I then rebuilt the PC with a new Mobo, etc., and it locks at start-up a bit less often than before, but still enough to be annoying. I uninstalled it today and am going back to McAfee for my HTPC. I'll stick it out on the laptop, since it's only happened a couple of times.
Overall Review: I'm not sure if this is a common problem, but there must be a reason why this is so cheap, and I'm guessing it's due to the bugs. It's not bad when it works.
Working perfectly in dual-channel mode with a separate SK Hynix stick

Overall Review: I have a pre-built Lenovo desktop that came with one SK Hynix 16GB DDR4 2666MHz DIMM running in single-channel mode. I know it's typically recommended to buy RAM in matched pairs, but this v-color stick matched all the specs exactly and is listed as having SK Hynix chips. So far they're both working flawlessly together in dual-channel. The price was great and Newegg shipped it cross-country in about a week. Very happy!
Very happy with this purchase

Pros: As others have mentioned, the included SSD is icing on the cake, plus the wireless card (mine did include an antenna, so sounds like that's hit-or-miss). Very fast boot times and general responsiveness. Runs cool and quiet. Most comparable new systems are a couple hundred more. The i7 3770 performs very close to the Haswell i7 4770 in most benchmarks. Very happy with Windows 8.1 + Classic Shell. Looks and operates as if brand new other than one really small cosmetic issue. The case is pretty good. Nice subtle look, feels sturdy.
Cons: The included power supply is nothing fancy, but it's quiet enough and I can't complain too much about it. I picked up an 80 plus Corsair from Newegg that was on a crazy deal and replaced the stock one, but mostly just because I felt like it and wanted something efficient. The corner of my case is missing a tiny amount of paint (I think it rubbed off in shipping), but I don't really notice it. No big deal at all. On upgrading to Windows 8.1, most options disappeared from Catalyst Control Center, so I had to fix my underscan settings through a registry edit. That's probably more of an ATI driver problem though. I can't blame ASUS.
Overall Review: Included keyboard and mouse are fine. Comparable to what's provided by other OEMs. This is a really great machine overall, and is absurdly great when you consider the price.
Not impressed, poorly constructed

Pros: Great sound when they're working properly. Tight bass (not overwhelming or muddy), highs are impressively crisp and clear.
Cons: I loved these speakers for the first few months I owned them. I've used them very lightly and treated them with care, nonetheless the sound seriously degrades as they warm up. When I turn them on they sound perfect for 10-15 minutes, then the volume starts decreasing and becomes muffled and extremely distorted (makes it sound as if all songs are clipping). At first I didn't even suspect the speakers were to blame. I assumed it must be a sound card issue. I tried a different sound card I had sitting around, same problem. Then I assumed it must be some issue I was experiencing with Windows 7 or my motherboard. Recently completed a new build - same problem, tried a different computer - same problem. Even though I'm amazed that something as relatively low tech as a pair of speakers could be defective, the AV 40s are definitely the problem. From the time I used them, they sounded slight off-balance as well (left speaker was slightly louder). Poorly built.
Overall Review: At least I got 6 months or so of use out of these before they turned to garbage. Wish I still had my Altec Lansing speakers that lasted for a decade, still sounded good, and kept on kicking. I'll never purchase another M-Audio product again.
It works great...that's what matters, right?

Pros: This little cable ended up being a life saver. I just completed building a system from scratch and wasn't sure if the drives I bought and the motherboard would come with SATA cables (or how many), so I got this just to be on the safe side so I would have an extra. Turns out the cable that came with my DVD burner was literally about an inch too short to reach from my SATA headers to the back of the drive (in the top drive bay of an Antec NSK3480). Luckily I had this on-hand, or I would have had to wait until the next day to finish the build. It's just a few inches longer than the bundled cables that came with the drives and mobo, so that's a huge plus. Also, the right angle connection came in handy since my DVD burner backs up VERY close to the power supply. If the cable was sticking straight out, it would've been a tight squeeze. With this one, it fit nicely as the connection was nearly flush. Also, not a bad price with free shipping (it arrived quickly too, Newegg rocks
Cons: None, it gets the job done.
