Awesome chip, My daily/Work Machine

AMD A10-7700K - A10-Series Kaveri Quad-Core 3.4 GHz Socket FM2+ 95W AMD Radeon R7 Desktop Processor - AD770KXBJABOX
AMD A10-7700K - A10-Series Kaveri Quad-Core 3.4 GHz Socket FM2+ 95W AMD Radeon R7 Desktop Processor - AD770KXBJABOX

Pros: Have had this since basically 2 weeks from release day! Its a great chip. OC'd to 4Ghz on all 4 cores! Temps are great w/ CM TX3. Blows through all tasks! My machine boots in 3 sec with a 60GB Kingston SSD. Love the flat IPC, way better gaming performance than Piledriver setups. Quite a move for AMD. Beat my 6800k @ 4.6 in some benchmarks (this chip running at 4Ghz). Better gaming performance too.

Cons: Doesn't OC aswell as Piledriver (but it has better IPC anyway). FGLRX for Linux (Linux Catalyst) isn't good unless you have an out-of-box linux setup. Any sort of a semi-custom setup and it probably won't work for you.

Overall Review: I use a dGPU with this on linux. This is my daily CPU. My work computer is the machine i use all day every day. Mostly its used for office applications, development applications (sublime, Chromium, Chrome, Firefox w/ Dev tools, Libreoffice).

Can't be redeemed

NVIDIA Gift - Star Wars Outlaws PC GeForce RTX Bundle
NVIDIA Gift - Star Wars Outlaws PC GeForce RTX Bundle

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Forces you to install Geforce Experience Beta version. Doesn't actually allow redemption; tells me I need to have the hardware installed (it is).

Overall Review: Wasted 2 hours of my time and can't redeem anything.

Zen5 Support, Great performance in a Small Package

ASRock DeskMini X600 AMD Socket AM5 AMD X600 Barebone
ASRock DeskMini X600 AMD Socket AM5 AMD X600 Barebone

Pros: - Great performance w/ Zen5 (My 9600x was able to handle my daily workstation tasks with ease, including a Windows VM). - Surprisingly good thermals; Although I'm not using the stock cooler - Good board layout; wasn't more difficult for me to add my SSD or Wifi Card vs a normal board - Comes apart Easily; the entire PC disassembles in seconds (minus the mainboard to the tray) - Really well priced; Costs less than a AM5 Board + Case + PSU of any kind

Cons: - Only supports SODIMM memory; no DDR5 6200 CL32 options available. I used 5600 CL46. - Only 2 Monitor Outputs (this is probably my biggest gripe) - No Oculink port (but it wouldn't be hard to add one, considering 3x PCI-E M.2 Slots) - Main NVMe on bottom of motherboard, which requires full disassembly.

Overall Review: - I upgraded my cooler to a slim Thermalright design. It works like a charm, but it is louder than the stock cooler. CPU temps never exceeded 85C and typically were under 65C even during heavier workloads. - This is one of the most affordable ways to get into AM5 platform. - Zen5 support with a BIOS update is awesome - Included power supply is small and has long cables - I wish the front panel USB-C had an option for USB-4 and that the headphone jack was a Headphone/Microphone combo jack like a laptop. Definitely would buy again, I'm actually considering buying another one for a family member, with modern day CPU's; this thing has more power than workstations of the yesteryear.

Great Reliable Drives

Mushkin Pilot-E 2TB PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe 1.3 M.2 (2280) Internal SSD - Up to 3,500MBs - Opal Data Encryption - MKNSSDPE2TB-D8
Mushkin Pilot-E 2TB PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe 1.3 M.2 (2280) Internal SSD - Up to 3,500MBs - Opal Data Encryption - MKNSSDPE2TB-D8

Pros: I have 3 of these drives right now and I am about to order more. First one was in a laptop a couple years ago and still works just like new. 2nd one is in my workstation here as download/file transfer drive. 3rd and 4th will also be put in servers alongside the 1TB versions mentioned below. I have 3 others deployed (1TB versions) in servers around the country and they all work 100% after years of data writes and all day operations.

Cons: Nothing, Just works

Overall Review: Definitely Recommend Mushkin products. I've had great luck with them and even when I have had to RMA Memory after years of use; they replaced it without an issue!

Works great for my HTPC

GIGABYTE GA-A320MA-M.2 (rev. 1.0) AM4 AMD A320 USB 3.1 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-A320MA-M.2 (rev. 1.0) AM4 AMD A320 USB 3.1 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Fast boot times, simple but effective bios

Cons: Didnt work with 2200G out of the box, used Athlon APU to flash BIOS.

Overall Review: Update after literally 5 years; still running strong. Has a 1700x in it and I am about to drop the 3900x into it.

Great ram, fast speeds, 64g in a laptop!

Team Elite 64GB (2 x 32GB) 260-Pin DDR4 SO-DIMM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Laptop Memory Model TED464G3200C22DC-S01

Pros: Worked out of the box on my new Nitro 5 4600h machine. Runs at 3200 as specced.. No impact to heat or battery life noticed.

Overall Review: Micron memory (I think it's E-die?) 64GB in a laptop is just nuts. I'm running VMs on my laptop like nothing... This is the ultimate kit for an upgradable Zen2 laptop like the Nitro 5.
