You'd be stupid not to buy this!!!!!!
Pros: Picture is crystal clear! No Dead pixels. The 20000:1 Contrast Ratio and 5ms response time makes this a great gaming Monitor. Plus, it comes with a HDMI cable which is a great add on. The touch buttons are easy to use and look very simplistic on the bottom of the screen, therefore, no buttons are sticking out of the monitor making it look cheap. I cannot say enough great things about this monitor!!!!
Cons: None as of yet. People say that the stand is somewhat limited. There is no height adjustment, but you can tilt it up and down. I personally think it works just fine. I have also read some questionable comments about the touch screen function buttons. They are actually located on the bottom of the screen on the black panel and are very user friendly. Again, can't really say anything bad about this monitor. Even if I have paid $300 I'd still like it. For $189.00, why wouldn't you purchase this! Better yet, two of them to run dual monitors!!!!
Overall Review: If you're looking for an awesome performing monitor at an inexpensive price, this would be great monitor to purchase. The clarity is heart stopping if you are generally using a 17" CRT or basic LCD. I personally do a lot of gaming and photography and I was blown away by this monitor.
Oh the sound of Klipsch
Pros: Due to the clarity and balance of sounds you will hear music in a whole new way, especially music you have listened to for years. When watching "Live In Concert" BluRays, I can close my eyes, turn it up, and feel like I am at the venue. The greatest thing about these speakers is the quality and unforgettable Klipsch sounds we have all grown to love and appreciate -- the RF-62 II's never disappoint no matter what you throw at them (any genre of music, movies, and gaming). Lastly, the efficiency of these speakers is rediculously fantastic. It doesn't take much to push these speakers and get the sound you need at the volume you want, and just when you think you may be pushing them too hard they push back blowing all expectations away.
Cons: None. *Newegg doesn't carry the RF-82 II's or the RF-7's, and if they did, I couldn't afford them. :p
Overall Review: I will admit that I am a Klipsch fanboy, but have also heard my fair share of speaker brands, and I always come back to Klipsch due to the quality of sound you get for the price you pay. If I had more money, I would consider full range speakers or maybe even some traditional Klipsch horns (ie. Klipsch Heritage Heresy III Floorstanding Speakers). But I can't complain about my current setup -- it more then gets the job done. I'm running 2 x Klipsch RF-62 II's for my main L&R fronts, a Klipsch RW-12d Subwoofer for my LFE, and a pair of RB-61 II's for my rears. Everything is being powered by an Onkyo TX-NR709 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver. All I need now is a pair of RS-62 II's and I can run a full 7.1 setup for movies. Otherwise, it's stereo for music.
Yes & No - But pretty good!
Pros: Logitech has done a fairly good job in creating a 5.1 system that features a pretty decent sound; especially for the price being that they are THX certified. The remote is definitely a huge plus, and being able to select channel settings also makes it great. The simple design makes them look great in almost any environment! I give them a 90% (A-) grade! :-)
Cons: Previously using the Klipsch 2.1 THX system, I was disappointed in the overall clarity and quality of balanced sound coming from this system. The bass; turned all the way down with the remote, is still too boomy and muddy sounding. And tweaking the EQ settings should not be a necessity to make a system sound well; especially when it is THX certified. It should already sound great out of the box!
Overall Review: I'm sure my expectations were set a bit too high; being that I've been using Klipsch products for so long, but again I can't complain too much being the price and what I'm using them for (gaming & movies). I've stuck to my Klipsch speakers for music though. I would definitely suggest this system to most people: those who are looking for a good sounding and well priced surround sound system. For those who are looking for high quality sound and are used to that, you will be disappointed. Kudos to Logitech though for creating a decent system. I enjoy it very much for what I use it for.
