Pros: Enough handsets for easy access through out entire home, great speaker phone, can access messages from any satelite phone, conference calls, I'm impressed

Cons: none about phone, however the carrier who delivered the box, left it outside my garage door. While backing out the next morning I ran over the box.....the phone wasn't damaged, but it scared the @#$% out of me.

Overall Review: This was a great buy.

Pros: The price was so low I could not resist. I needed 4 more cameras for my Rosewill 12001 DVR that I purchased well over a year ago. The Zmodo cameras work so far and I thought this would be a great way to compare the two units together.

Cons: Cameras on the Zmodo system have a lack of clarity and color quality when compared to the Rosewill. I will say however that the Rosewill cameras are CMOS and the Zmodo are CCD. Cables are short, 60 feet in comparison to the Rosewill 82 feet. If you are using the DVR in the center of your home or business the cable length may not be a problem but if the DVR is located on one end of home or business the cables will be too short to give you full viewing of the entire area, unless of course you live in a tent :-). Zmodo cables are much smaller than the Rosewill also and that seems to cut down on the quality of the picture. Picture flickers and goes off for a short time. You have to be careful how you mount the camera brackets. The camera mounting tap is on the bottom of the camera rather than on the back so you are limited with direction and tilt of the camera. Don't get me wrong this will be a great learning experience for you if you are a novice and the unit will suffice for limited viewing. No facial recognition with either system unless in day light and 2 feet from cameras.

Overall Review: I must add that I haven't used the Zmodo DVR yet. I connected the cameras and transformer (power supply) to the existing Rosewill DVR. In my opinion the Rosewill is far superior to this model Zmodo. Of course the more cameras added and programmed the larger capacity HHD you will need. I have 500 GB and it would record 4 cameras over a month with the highest quality, now with the other 4 added I can only record one week. Newegg is great though, prompt delivery, ease of ordering with little info. I will add, I love my Rosewill 12001 system. Don't bother with the added warranty, you will have to keep your packing for however long until the system fails and you will have to send back the entire system, wires, cameras, DVR, transformer and instructions to receive a replacement and the one you receive may be worse than the original . To much trouble to uninstall all after running wires in walls and attic. I always hook up the entire system in a spare room and let it run for at least a week before installing for permanent use. Pros: Great system, cameras good daytime and night. Online support is unbelievably Good, patient kind,can trouble shoot all problems that arise from not understanding anything about DVR security systems on my part. I did set up my system in a room in my home and let it run and record for 2 weeks before installing to see if the cameras would fail, they did not fail. I'm impressed. I can't compliment the support enough, email after email to explain to me how to change ip address and connect to the Internet to view online. Wow? Ir must not shine on gutter downspouts or anything white within the ir range or you will not be able to identify faces. My ir is well beyond 40ft. I want to purchase 4 more cameras from rosewill to fill the other 4 connections
