Pros: Fantastic 3D model loading speed. High performance game settings recommended. Low power consumption. Solid AMD built platform, professional parts.
Cons: Somewhat less capable in gaming when compared to say an AMD 7750. The DisplayPort's Dongle system is bulky. For a single monitor this is not practical. Extra stress on the card.
Overall Review: Upgraded HD 4870s in sli to a single v3900. This is a huge upgrade in both Engineering Design and gaming. Not to mention my system (which is a gaming system) benchmarks much higher with the 1gb card than my previous 2gb setup. The new driver from AMD incorporates Radeon features with the workstation chipset to make this card all around a great buy. For never having owned a workstation card before, I am very pleased with the performance in all ways.
RGB Working Well. Sync Well. Loud Noise!
Pros: -Nice Colors Very Bright and Highly Controllable with Mystic Light on MSI MOBO. -Remote Works as Described.
Cons: -The fan bearing makes a loud resonating noise. It isn't a quite fan because of this. -With 5 of these fans the case emits a lot of extra noise. -If you slow down the fans the noise from each is increased. If you turn it up the noise of the airflow dominates and is very loud and the click nearly disappears.
Overall Review: -I would be 5 egg review if it weren't for this confounded bearing click noise. -Advertised as Ultra Quiet I expect the bearing to be quite as well. -Most likely I will replace these fans at some point when I can no longer stand the constant buzz.
Good Value Product. Some Major Flaws.
Pros: - Value compared with market for similar products. - Good Lighting effects and brightness - Very Quiet.
Cons: - Poor construction quality. - Does not connect to mobo for LED control. - No fan speed control option. - Not really expandable from this package.
Overall Review: The number one thing that sticks out to me is the installation of these fans. Two of the fans' corner brackets broke off just from me installing the screws that were provided with a screwdriver. The diameter of the screw compared with the fan requires that a good amount of torque is required to set the screw, and the connection of the corner material broke. I've installed many other case fans, the screw was similar to install but they never broke from just twisting the screw alone. It seems almost like the corner is glued to the main part very weakly. I've managed to install all of the fans (somewhat) correctly without trying to repair the corners but its not ideal. No connection to motherboard for fan controls or sync is a major downside for me but for some people this could be ideal. The 'hub' that was provided for this set has (2) extra slots for fans and (2) potential slots for RGB strips that are unfilled with this package. Overall the fan is pretty good for the cost, especially because they are so quiet. Honestly I would really just like to be able to buy 1 more fan and 2 of the led strips alone but I can't seem to find them. I'm left with two broken fans, a pretty nice RGB effect on these silent fans. Somehow disappointed and yet wanting more. Afterall this is a really good price for 4 fans of this style. @Apevia will you sell me 2 rgb strips and 1 more fan to expand!?! Because due to build quality problems I will 100% not buy one of the larger packages of RGB fans you sell that include the LED Strips, to extend this build or for other future projects. I would rather spend some more to get a higher quality fan. But if I could just extend my setup a bit more and keep the value I'd be pretty happy.
