Pros: Brand name has been proven time and time again. Price is fair, and Newegg service awesome as usual. Matched this board with Sempron 2600+ and this combo serves as an excellent computer for my kids.

Cons: None that I have found.

Cons: Got unit, installed software, scanned docs, worked fine, hour later unit lights still on and usb connected, but would not respond to anything..power, scan. Unplugged unit, powered up scanned fine repeat. Running WIN7 Brand new Dell laptop and drivers/scan software that came with scanner.

Comments: This is my second NEC dvd burner, and you cant go wrong with this one, I have had my other one for about a year, and have literally burned hundreds of DVD's with not one hardware issue. Why buy a cd-rom, or a CD-RW, when you can have it all for little $$

Comments: I expected a flimsy metal box, but didnt care since I was just building a basic system for the kids, but I was suprised to see that this was better constructed then a $xxx case I bought 3 months ago. A great price for what you get. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
