interesting power supply

Pros: very, very quiet.
Cons: failed in less than a month

Pros: It works. Most of the enclosure is metal, but the drive doesn't really contact the enclosure, so I'm not sure that the metal enclosure works as a heat sink.
Cons: The design is not so good. There are two screws to hold in the drive. Other than those screws, the board that holds the the drive just rests on a set of rails (other products have a slot which holds more securely). The screws hold onto the drive assembly thru a plastic end cap which is glued onto the assembly (which has broken and needed to be reglued). The screws go into a threaded 75% hole (open on one side) rather than a standard screw hole. As a result, that can open and the screw won't hold until you go after it with pliers to close it back up again.
Overall Review: If you only intend to put a single drive in this and never take it apart again, its good. Other than that ...
