Drives 3 monitors
Pros: Price, eyefinity, quiet
Cons: You have to buy an active adapter to get the third monitor to work. I knew this before I bought the card, so I am not going to take an egg away for that.
Overall Review: I do not use this card to game, my wife uses it to program. She wanted 3 monitors and I did not want to have to buy 2 video cards. So I did a lot of research on the eyefinity cards before I bought this one. Here is what I found, I hope that it helps out. You can drive 3 monitors with this card, but you need to buy an active adapter to do so. It is important that it is an active adapter. I tried a normal adapter first and it did not work. Luckly I did not buy that adapter, that is why I tried it first. I paid $30 for the one that I am using. I bought it from a local store, but I am sure that newegg sells them. If you want to use 3 monitors you can only use the 2 DVI and the display port. As of right now that card is working great and my wife is happy. That means that I am happy. Once again, I hope that this helps.
This is the one you want
Pros: Black inside and out, top tray, nice air flow, looks good, great space for cable management.
Cons: The motherboard sits right up against the top fan. Not that big of a deal, just wish there was a tiny bit of move between them.
Overall Review: I built a rig for my wife and this is the case that I used. Her only requirement was that it did not look like a gaming case. She loves it, so I am a happy man.
Quiet power
Pros: Power, price, quiet, modular (well half at lest). This PSU has all that you need and more.
Cons: None at the moment
Overall Review: I was looking at the 650W for my wife's new programming rig, but went this this one because it was on sale for only $10 more. I am so happy that I decided to spend the extra $10. The PSU is quiet and it runs like a champ. I also have the power if a want to upgrade later now. I used the Antec 100 Black case and this blends right in with it. This is the first Antec PSU I have bought and I think that I will be sticking with them.
Nice CPU
Pros: Quad-core, 3 channels to the ram, easy to over clock (although I have not done it yet), easy to install, price.
Cons: The stock fan does the job, wish it was a little better though.
Overall Review: I built a new rig for my wife and this is the cpu that I used. She uses the pc for programming and loves it. She says that she is not sure how she worked before she got her new pc. Now she was using a P4 single core chip before, so that might have a little to do with it. But I would like to think that it is my mad pc building skills. When I buy an after market fan, I will bump up the speed a little.
Fast
Pros: It is fast, price, size, no heat
Cons: Bought this for my wife's rig and now I wish I had one.
Overall Review: The pc is used to program and this drive makes a world of difference. Plus it is large enough to install all the programs that you need.
First time buyer
Pros: 12 GB (3x4GB), fast, well built, looks good
Cons: none at this time
Overall Review: My wife is a programmer and in great need of an upgrade. I bought her a new rig and this is the ram that I decided on. It works great and gives you room to upgrade to 24 GB if you want.
