Good alternative to a stock HSF

Pros: Quite, compact, provides efficient not only for a CPU but also RAM and surrounding components. Has a speed control fan function through the mother board. Works excellent with mother boards that have passive cooling for north or/and south bridge (A$U$, Ab!t).
Cons: Will not work with taller than normal memory (C0rsa!r with THX heat spreaders), because the fan slightly over laps first RAM slot on Ab!t KN9 mother board but it will work with any other memory if you put memory in before the cooler.
Overall Review: Mounting bracket seams flimsy. Remove the thermal pad that it came with and invest into AS#5. When installing cooler into the case practice couple times with out thermal compound to see how it lines up.
Does NOT fit EVGA 256-N550-T2 7600GT

Pros: Well built unit much heavier than the stock cooler on the 7600GT.
Cons: The holes are 1/8 of an inch off. There is now way to mount it on to EVGA 256-P2-N550-T2 with out moding a cooler or card. If you try to force it more then likely it will fry the card.
Overall Review: I can't understand how the other 6 guys got this to fit it on there 7600GT. Well this is my mistake for not researching the size of the card and a cooler.
Simple and Effective

Pros: Good value for the money, Price / Performance Surprisingly quiet for 1800 rpm fans (much quieter than a decade old 1400rpm fans they replaced)
Cons: No RGB, not really a con if working with decade old hardware
Overall Review: As it says on the package, these fans are "pressure optimized", but only well above 1200+ rpm do they have "good" airflow, due to fan blade design. Using 50 Ohm resistor, between the Fan and PSU, for manual Voltage / Fan Speed control... Does NOT provide significant reduction in noise... but DOES provide noticeable reduction in air flow.

Pros: Nice upgrade for my Toshiba U405D-S2848 that originally came with 3GB of RAM. My Windows experience index went from 3.5 to 3.8. which is a nice bump.
Cons: After I swapped out my old memory, I got a BSOD on the first boot, I guess the Windows didn't recognize it at first. After a reboot everything works fine.
Overall Review: Ordered Tuesday afternoon with 3 day shipping delivered Thursday afternoon, sweet. Timing according to CPU-Z is 5-5-5-18-24,which is ok because the last two numbers are chipset dependent. Another CPU-Z fact; date of manufacture, week 17 of 2007
Follow up

Pros: Had it for about 6 months, works like a champ. No conflicts running IDE and SATA 3G Hard Drives
Cons: See "Other thoughts".
Overall Review: sort of a no briner, but when running two(2) 1GB DDR2 800 dimms , don't forget to increase voltage in BIOS (to 1.90 volts if using Patriot RAM)
Exelent PSU

Pros: This power supply has enough good said about it already, so I am not going to waste your time try to repeat what everyone before me said.
Cons: No major cons with this unit.
Overall Review: VERY IMPORTANT: IN ORDER TO INSURE BEST PERFORMANCE CONNECT YOUR OPTICAL DRIVES, AND HARD DRIVES INTO FIRST 3 CONNECTORS THAT ARE CLOSEST TO MAIN RAIL(24, 8, 4 pin rails)
