CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-650TX 650 W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply & New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Very standard installation, but cable dressing is above average. This product appears to be manufactured by a very quality-minded company. Packaging is very heavy-duty and would survive the roughest handling I can imagine.

Cons: None noted

Overall Review: I hope the electronics lasts better than the last powersupply from another company.

Cooler Master eXtreme Power RP-650-PCAR 650 W ATX from factor 12V V2.01 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready Power Supply

Pros: Nice cables

Cons: Reliability. In 20 years, this is the first power supply failure I've had. I bought 650W and should have just stuck with good ol' reliable 450W.

Overall Review: Replacement policy catch 22: You're dead in water waiting for your return shipment to be accepted before they will ship out replacement. That amounts to about 2 weeks total down time without a computer.

Great case! One flaw.

Pros: This is simply a superb product but I'm writing the review to help avoid a problem that you may have. Read the Cons.

Cons: I bought the first one about 10 months ago. The only problem was that the screws that fasten the motherboard to the chassis standoffs are not a perfect fit. They are just enough too large that when threading them, the torque required is enough to cause the over-tightening of the standoffs and the standoffs easily strip the threads in the aluminum chassis. I just bought the second of these boxes and was assembling it an hour ago and low and behold, it did the same thing. I had forgotten about the first box's prob with this mounting, so I ended up stripping the chassis aluminum threads and had to do a little thread repair/re-thread/upsizing to correct the problem. This added an extra hour or so to the assembly process, plus it's annoying. The solution is for the manufacturer to provide screws and standoffs in the same pkg that match. To avoid this problem, just throw away the ones that come in the standoff bag and use the ones that are used for mounting hard drives. Not a best solution.

Overall Review: It's, otherwise, my very favorite enclosure. Very, very, user friendly and is gorgeous with a lighted fan of your preferred color !
