Most Favorable Review

Turning out to be an awesome chip.

AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0 GHz (4.2 GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W FD8350FRHKBOX Desktop Processor
AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0 GHz (4.2 GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W FD8350FRHKBOX Desktop Processor

Pros: Very nice design for it overall. It runs smooth, it runs cool, and combined with the right Motherboard, offers a lot more then what an older processor can. Having the 8 cores will keep it in the game for at least the next few years to come. Haven't regretted my old quad core either, so this was just improving.

Cons: Only complaint is the cheap thermal paste. Get your self some good Artic Silver paste and wipe this crud off. Would say it's just AMD, but Intel does it too with the cheap stuff. As always, anyone that knows anything about their computer knows to clean the old paste off every so often (about once a year) anyways. I do mine twice a year just for kicks.

Overall Review: I've always liked AMD over Intel. And I've used both. Back in the day the main complaint was that AMD would always just run a lot hotter and would burn out faster then Intel did. Over the years I've never had one burn out on me. My main theory on that is how in the gaming community you hear that everyone has to overclock so they can get that 4k resolution or see that tiny fish at the bottom of the river. It's all unnecessary. I've never overclocked and have had nothing but beautiful gaming experiences.

Most Critical Review

Oh why?

ADATA Ultimate SU800 128GB 3D NAND 2.5 Inch SATA-III Internal Solid State Drive (ASU800SS-128GT-C)
ADATA Ultimate SU800 128GB 3D NAND 2.5 Inch SATA-III Internal Solid State Drive (ASU800SS-128GT-C)

Pros: Um, it's true to it's size? That's really about it here.

Cons: Stutters and can't keep up with the rest of the PC. It's cheap and reflects that way. The other thing it had on it was Win10 just for booting purposes. I would launch games and everything else from a different hard drive as that's just how I like to do it. Heats up a lot more then the average hard drive. This is more of an annoyance as, with proper case cooling, you should be ok. But, shouldn't "have" to use a hard drive fan for it. I would recommend it though. Ultimately went out. Friend was able to fix it and so I gave it to him. It shut down after just trying to reinstall Windows on it.

Overall Review: Save yourself the money and save up for the much better Samsung SSD HD. You'll thank yourself later. And when I say later, I mean within a month or so.
