AWESOME!!

Pros: I have had tried 3 vga coolers over the past 6 months and this is the best so far. Just before this i had the zalman vf700 which was a solid performer, so i'll compare to that. With this cooler my idle temps are about 6 degrees cooler and under a load about 8 degrees cooler. AMAZING. It allowed me to further overclock my 7800gt to an astounding 550/1200 mhz (great for air cooling) max load temps with call of duty 2 are around 65c.
Cons: be careful not to bend your video card circuit board too much with this new mount, tighten the screws 1 turn at time in a criss cross pattern just until its snug. The new mount can really exert some force on the gpu.... this is a secret to its sucess...
Overall Review: The cooler has these advantages over the vf700 1. more fins for more surface area 2. more mass for more heat capacity 3. heat pips that really help suck the head out of the core and distribute it with max efficiency 4. an amazing mount system that really secures the heat sink to the gpu
Defective DOA I think

Pros: the feature set and reviews were great
Cons: bios overclocking options not as easy to use as my asus boards
Overall Review: i think mine is defective. I cannot install windows, setup keeps freezing. I cannot run memtest86, it keeps freezing as well. I've not overclocked anything and I've set the ram to the most relaxed timings. Tested my ram in my main rig. This is my 5th build and nothing is working properly. 500 watt enermax psu, patriot ddr2, and E6400 core 2.... all good parts... I THINK I GOT A DEFECTIVE ONE TOO! HRRRRMMMMMM.... will have to get in touch with newegg...BUMMER...
G.SKILL never fails to deliver a quality product!

Pros: I have used G.Skill memory in my last 2 laptops (toshiba's and MacBook Pro's) and my main PC tower (ASUS Mobo). I've also used Patriot, Corsair, OCZ, and Kingston several times, and G.Skill has outperformed all of them every single time in performance, stability, and value. Every G.Skill memory module I've used has met or surpassed it's advertized timings and speed ratings while operating at the recommended voltage. And in cases where overclocking was the goal, these same memory modules have shocked me with their overclocking capabilities, each one supporting tighter timings and higher speed ratings while still remaining stable! Improvements of at least 20% were easily obtained in all my tests, and to this day have run solid for over 4 years. They even play nice with other mfg's memory modules, and if I recall correctly, my OCZ and G.Skill modules were especially stable together... Bottom line, I'll always use G.Skill memory in all future builds and laptops which I own, hands down... Vince
Cons: None, 4+ years and all my G.Skill memory continues to perform flawlessly
DOA !!! there is a pattern here!

Pros: The specs and features looked great
Cons: Nothing on the surface other than the fact that its dead on arrival!!!
Overall Review: My first review was never posted no i'm trying again newegg.... The unit locked up 3 times during win xp instal. Then tried to run memetest and it wont even run through a complete test without locking up...using tested good ram from my main rig. This is my 5th build so I'm no nooob...this board is defective and I will be returning. It seams that many other recent 3.3 revision buyers are having the same issues.... Bad run of boards....
fast but overheating

Pros: super fast, lower power consumption
Cons: mine overheated, rma'ed to newegg, hopefully the repacement wont be a dud
Overall Review: bought to repace a model 630 cpu which ran at 35C/45C load. installed properly and booted up only to find temps at 53C idle, 62C loaded. Been buiding PCs for years, tried 3 remounts of the same heatsink i used on the model 630, could not get the temperatures under 50C, returned as defective waiting on replacement.
the best case ever

Pros: This is the coolest case, its huge, has massive cooling fans, and amazing front to rear airflow. Has tons of space or hardrives and also includes a rack to add 3 more drives in the upper rear corner of the case. Has killer guards on the front edges that prevent damage to case and drive bays.
Cons: Heavy....but i'm not taking it places with me every day so who cares
