Question 1

I would be interested in knowing if this specific set of ram is compatible with a CLEVO CO. Laptop with a Model  number of W860CU. My main concern is that not all the RAM will be used with my Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit operating system. Would this setup work?

I Googled the model of the laptop and found it on Memoryx(dot)com

It appears that model of laptop has a memory limitation of 8GB. You would be better off with a 2x4GB chip setup.

Would this work in my 2010 27" iMac 2.8GHz i5?

In theory it should work now that apple uses the standard x86/x64 PC architecture. I used this in an i7 ASUS laptop and it works beautifully, but if you want a 100% sure answer, you need to contact apple and find a list of approved hardware, nearly all computer manufactures will provide a list of approved components.

The only reason I could possibly see that it may not work is if apple has actively designed their mainboards to reject other unapproved hardware.

Is this ram officially compatible with an Apple Macbook Pro 15" (late 2011 model) i7 2.0 Ghz?

Official "Apple" Compatibility is like official "Microsoft" compatibility. Did you kick enough money back to the company for that honor. In most cases, Ram is Ram. Judge it on its speed, its size, and its overall customer review rating across all systems.

I will say though, Mac registered ram is high end expensive fast ram.

Question 4

I need this for a Intel NUC but they specify DDR3L (low voltage SODIMMS) where Newegg lists regular 1.5v memory as suggested memory for their NUCs. So, are these OK to use and if so, any issues I should be aware of?  I hope I get a quick answer as these go off sale today I think. Thanks

I would say no. To look for those that are 1.35V like the example below. Not saying that the 1.5V wouldn't work but I would take the chance. Reducing the voltage could mean having to reduce memory speed in order to remain stable. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231694

I have a dell precision M4600 i7 quad.
would these work?
want to get up to 32g total.

JG - It really depends on the generation of the M4600.  I own a Precision 4600 i7 and a Precision i7 vPro 6600.  While both models have RAM slots under the keyboard and inside the bottom of the laptop - the M4600 I own, will not upgrade to 32GB.  The reason being, is the slots under the keyboard are covered with a plastic blocker marked with a RAM chip that has a big X over it - indicating you cannot put memory into the slots.  Of course, I tried anyway however, the laptop would not boot with RAM chips in these slots.  Hope this helps!
