Most Critical Review

Worked Great until it died

CORSAIR Hydro Series H100 (CWCH100) Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
CORSAIR Hydro Series H100 (CWCH100) Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

Pros: This product works great for cooling high performance CPU's. It also has good fan control for running in quiet mode if not overclocking.

Cons: It is rather large and not always easy to fit in the tower, depending on the tower model. Computer started shutting down due to CPU temperature problems after 1 year and 6 months. I tried cleaning and replacing the thermal compound with no luck. The PC would boot to bios, immediately heat to 85 degrees (my shut down value), then shut off. I replaced the H100 with the standard heat sink/fan that came with my FX4170 CPU and the PC worked great with no overheating problems.

Good While It Lasted

HIS Hightech H195CF512-R Radeon X1950 CrossFire Edition 512MB 256-bit GDDR4 PCI Express x16 CrossFire Supported CrossFire Support Video Card
HIS Hightech H195CF512-R Radeon X1950 CrossFire Edition 512MB 256-bit GDDR4 PCI Express x16 CrossFire Supported CrossFire Support Video Card

Pros: Card is fast, quiet, and runs relatively cool. It runs most older games at highest resolutions with no problems.

Cons: The card died on me within about two weeks of purchase. I got a refund from Newegg, but I lost all of the shipping costs.

Overall Review: The card stopped working when connecting it in Crossfire with an ATI X1950XTX card, so my M/B may have caused the problem some how. I have an ATI X1950 Crossfire Ed on the way, so I'll try again with it. If that one screws up as well, I'll update this review to a 5 rating because the card worked great up until it crashed.
