Solid monitor
Pros: -- This monitor is a fantastic bargain. I picked it up a couple months ago for about $170, I think. -- Not only is it a bargain, but it has HDMI input, which is why I bought it. Use the HDMI for my PS3 and the DVI for my computer (used as a second monitor). -- Looks great alongside my 22" ASUS. They look nearly identical. -- Shipped in about 3 days.
Cons: -- I'm not savvy when it comes to video display/monitors, but I noticed (and read reviews about this) that the default display seems way too bright. For example, I play Black Ops on this monitor, and the "Not visible/Barely Visible/Visible" video adjustment screen is all wrong for me. I tried switching the brightness/sharpness/tint, but the Not Visible bar was still very, very visible. I probably messed it up trying to fix it. But I'm not a stickler for these things, so it's not a huge problem. -- For some reason, the power button seems a little finicky. It takes a couple pressed to get the monitor to turn off (problem does not happen when I turn it on, however). -- The stock stand doesn't have horizontal sway (unless you count just turning the stand), and very little vertical sway. I knew this from the 22" ASUS I bought a few years back, and it hasn't bothered me.
Overall Review: Great monitor with some display problems that haven't bothered this user too much. I'm a fan of ASUS (I've had the 22" version for going on 4 years and haven't had any problems) and love that the company manages to produce low-cost monitors that are dependable for more than a few months/year. The price tag says $230 now, but when I picked it up for $60 less I considered it a steal.
