SAPPHIRE 100322L Radeon HD 6450
Pros: Plays older games fine - no power house.... Low power, a lot of GPU for not a lot of ca$h. Sapphire cards have treated me well over the years - better than some of the bigger "name brands" that give you a longer warranty, but fall short on either tech support or product quality.... Buy one, you won't regret it.
Cons: I use a slot cooler next to it for temp. control - it could have had a bigger H/S on it so when you do whip on it - it doesn't get so warm.... I could say something silly like: It doesn't have 480 stream processors?? It's a low priced card & it does great for the low price you pay.
Overall Review: I bought this to replace an A**s card that RRRalFed after a bit more than 30-40 days of light use - that card is still somewhere in RMA limbo, but my Sapphire HD6450 is running well and probably will for years to come! :)
Insten Red Charger
Pros: Fit in socket, red.
Cons: Lasted a whopping 30 minutes or less using a Samsung flip phone. Trash. Growing tired of cheap imitation "me too" products that don't work or last like a real "name brand" that cost a few bucks more.
Overall Review: Took several emails to get a refund - not the service I am used to. Will consider other companies for purchases, due to the better service when I have had a problem. I think Newegg is really slipping in the marketplace. Doubt this review will be posted because it's not full of sunshine & hot air.
CORN GeForce GTX750
Pros: Great bang for the buck, seems built fairly well. Runs pretty cool. 1G of GDDR5 so you're not going to take over the world.... So if it lasts a while, it's all good. Plenty of positive statements support the build of the card here.
Cons: Time will tell, "instructions" are not in my native language, the website's not the best and IDK if you'd have an issue if it failed after a short period how 'the service after the sale goes'. No PWM fan, but it IS quiet though.
Overall Review: I would buy again, seems like a good deal. With the climbing price of GPUs the "cryptofarmers" are driving up prices, and this seems like a good compromise for the time being.
SAMSUNG 840 /Z-7TD250KW 2.5" 250GB
Pros: Made my SAMSUNG NP305E5A-A07US (N82E16834131323) RRRR-R-R-RIP!!!! Teamed this up with another 4GB of (ADATA was installed - so I added the same) and my "lowly" 1.5GHz quad core AMD A6-3420M/HD6520M feels like I put a Tiger in it's tank! ;) We have a couple of 830 SSDs here and the 840 seems like another winner for Samsung. I get about 265MB/s read and 245MB/s writes according to the SSD Magician and I used the "Samsung Data Migration Software" with no incident ~ what a night & day difference from the 320 GB 5400 RPM chug-a-lug drive the laptop came with! If I choose to run AOD 4.0 I can clock the APU to 2.4G, albeit an angry 2.4GHz... I can do some fairly light gaming if I chose and it should run CAD software nicely. Oh, yeah - it came with a free download of FC3 - which I will install on my Phenom desktop~ COME GET SOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...RAS
Cons: It wasn't free?? No hot buttered popcorn came in the box?
Overall Review: I got the larger drive on a Black Friday meal deal - so it was well under $200... :D :D :D
F3-10666CL9D-8GBNT
Pros: It's G-Skill! (GOOD STUFF!) It will run DDR1600 - my N68C-S UCC doesn't like it quite as well as the PC12800 RipJaWz I took out to put into my AMD 880 board. :) The N68 m0b0 is for basic internet goofin' around; where the AMD 880 board runs games & does the REAL mathematical functions...in decent time! 8G for forty bonez still roX
Cons: Price seems to keep steadily going up, but I remember when I paid $199 for 128MB sticks of SDR.... so it's all relative. I would have rather gotten it for $20....yEEEEEhaWWW!
Overall Review: I used to be a Crucial fanboy, but when they started going to the lowest bidder - I moved on, G-Skill is made in Tiawan and it shoes. GOOD STUFF!
Phenom II X4 965 Black
Pros: Pretty quiet @ stock quad 3.4 Ghz. A real number KRUNCHER for what I got it for with the promo code. Blows the doors off my X3-455 3.3Hgz Rana, even (with 4 cores) unlocked. O/C's to 4Ghz no problem!
Cons: Gets a bit ANGRY when you whip on it - I am ordering an after market cooler this afternoon to see if I can hear even a hint of my 120MM / 950 RPM fans again... :) With performance comes power dissipation - so hopefully I can find balance.... I can't go back to the 3.3 Rana now, though!
Overall Review: It's bad & it's BLACK. :D
Corn Electronics NVIDIA GF750
STILL great bang for the buck, built fairly well as was mentioned as good as the "big" OEMs or better. Runs pretty cool even when you whip on it. 1G of GDDR5 so you're STILL not going to take over the world.... Again, if it lasts a while, it's STILL all good. Plenty of positive statements support the build quality of the card here and I just dropped another into one of my machines. I said " I would buy again, seems like a good deal." Well ~ I did, and it's all good.... : )
Sandisk MicroSD & MicroSDHC to SD Adapter
All good, and nice work,,,, Would buy again, with confidence!
Winegard FreeVision Indoor/Outdoor HDTV Antenna
USA made - works OK - not up on a big tower, so don't expect laser beams in your dreams...LOL
