What a difference

Pros: I used this to replace the 256MB DDR2 ECC memory in my Dell PowerEdge Server SC420.Wow,what a big difference this memory makes even though I am using non-ECC.The computer booted with no problems at all. This Dell can take a max of 4GB either in dual channel OR single channel DDR2.The strange thing though is that I have server 2003 standard edition installed and even with Win XP Pro 64 Bit, reports the memory as 0.99GB.Anyone who can figure this, please respond.
Cons: None to date
Overall Review: Been using this memory for over a month with no hiccups or BSOD.Obviously, this is excellent memory because it uses infineon chips.I will be building another computer soon and I will be definitely be using more of these. A+ certified
Update to iHAS124-04 - OEM

Pros: See my previous review
Cons: Decided to try it out after all and installed it in my computer. Next, tried to burn an ISO image of windows 8 and always failed at 91%. It did read a few DVD disks with files on them. Used a DVD+RW and DVD+R disk, same results. Reinstalled my old Samsung burner and it successfully burned to a DVD+RW disk with windows 8. So the new drive is busted.
Overall Review: I hope that Newegg will send a replacement when I request an RMA
Good Price, Eggclent Product, a must have

Pros: I like the fact that the slots are well labelled and there is an MicroSD slot and another with the adapter type. My came with a black USB cable, and I read some of the reviews that it came with a white. I'm mostly using Sd cards for my cell phones and tablet ,so I really haven't tested the other slots and can say that this a true USB 2.0 device. I recently bought a similar item that claimed to be 2.0 but as soon as I plugged it in, windows XP , 7 & and 8 reported it as a non USB 2.0 reader.
Cons: None to date but hope it last some time
Overall Review: Considering the price, this reader is well worth it and its a Transcend, so most of us know it's a quality item. Its a convenient size so I will keep it with my laptop and purchase a few more.
Very Satisfied, A MUST BUY

Pros: Surprising, Newegg did such a good job of packing this burner in bubble wrap, it actually took a little effort to unwrap. Installed in a Win 8 newly built computer and was recognize immediate, and burned a dvd disc which completed and verified successfully. Truthfully, this burner is really quiet even at 16X max burn, I was even surprised. It came with a driver CD with Power2Go8,E-green and firmware update.
Cons: No cons, except the Power2Go software did install, I rebooted and tried to use it by clicking any icons but none opened up. Maybe, its not Win 8 compatible but looks like a decent piece of software, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, still the same issue. Not a Newegg problem, so no egg deduction from me.
Overall Review: In my opinion,ASUS products are most time better than the other cheaper models and have used their MoBos with great success. I also noticed that this drive is a bit heavier that the Samsung I have, maybe that explains why it's quieter.
Good quality and it works

Pros: I received mine on 4/22/09 and used it successfully.SuperTech is correct but if you look at the unit carefully, you will see an imprinted small arrow towards the end in the middle. This is pin 1 or the red wire of the HD IDE cable.Once you line up the pins, you can see where the odd pin on the adapter cannot fit on the plugged connector of the IDE cable.Just mark that spot and bend the pin slightly out and the push the IDE cable in. I then formed the bent pin to the contour of the IDE cable to act as a brace guide. This adapter is sturdy and does not flex as my previous one that I use to clone older laptops OS.
Cons: None so far but when newegg has a better price(paid 4.99+FS)again,I will get another.
Overall Review: I need a good quality USB 2.0 to IDE 2.5,3.5 / SATA1&2 2.5,3.5 Converter/adapter.Any suggestions from the techies of newegg. Thanks
Eggcellent

Pros: I had 2 sticks of PQI 512MB in my system that I paid $85. two years ago.I got these 2X1GB sticks for $24.Wow,my computer really flies now and my apps open and works a lot better now.Since I already had DDR2 533,I went this route because I could not bare to give up my PQI and wanted to match the memory timings. My other computer uses DDR2 667 and its no different than my DDR2 533.I installed Win XP 64 Bit and Win Vista Ultimatex32 on two WD 250GB 16MB SATA2 HDs and I dual boot. Its amazing how Vista works so good and well for me and I have never had a problem with it.
Cons: The only con is this. The original PQIs has good quality memory spreaders with emblossed designs and heavier. These new sticks have spreaders but are not draped over the sticks and much lighter but have the same timings.
Overall Review: Buy these sticks if you need them for an older chipset and you won't be dissapointed. System: ASUS P5ND2 MOBO 3 GB DDR2 533 P4 3.2GHz PentiumD Nvidia 7300GS 256MB VC 2 Samsung 22X SATA burners 2 WD 250GB 16MB HDs 1 floppy drive 430W thermaltake PS and CPU heatsink
