Pros: All three of my children are avid Minecraft players, and these laptops have a very nice set of features for a very reasonable price. Decent CPU. Lots of RAM. Most importantly, it's one of the few reasonably priced laptops that included a discrete GPU that was up to the task of rendering their crafting creations at a frame rate that satisfied. Most in this price range are integrated GPUs. Once received, I wiped Win8 and replaced with 7. The drivers aren't supplied by Asus, but if you go searching by PCI ID you can find the drivers from the OEMs or the usual set of driver aggregation sites. It's a bit of an effort to track them all down, some requiring the help of google translate, but it's quite possible. I bought two of these laptops for the older boys, and they couldn't be happier for ~4 months now. (my daughter got my old bulky Dell XPS 15 and I treated myself to a MBP) The nVidia card gives them a perfectly acceptable fps, so much so they don't complain about lagging anymore even with mod-heavy variations like FTB or Crazy Craft. That means averaging 30fps, give or take. Stock Minecraft was even faster.

Cons: 750G HD is slow slow. For this price I didn't expect SSD, although it looks easy to swap if you wanted. Took forever to install Win7, but it was perfectly fine for game playing and the web browsing the kids do.

Pros: It's a pretty case.

Cons: As reported by others, the blue power LED falls out when you remove the front cover. The hot glue is insufficient. The LED slides back in, and is snug enough that if you are gentle it will stay in long enough to re-attach the cover. I originally planned on using a 3.5" drive (170G Seagate) but the drive bay was too small. A metal lip on the "right" side prevented drive from sliding in far enough, making it impossible to line up the mounting screw holes. After bending the lip back I could mount the drive. I attached the power but realized the connector stuck out too far, preventing the cage from being re-installed in the chassis. I eventually purchased 2.5" -> 3.5" PATA adapters, and used spare 2.5" drives with less capacity. Also as reported by others, the power supplies are dodgy. Out of two cases I purchased, one power supply died within 2 minutes of starting. Given the comments, I'm not even pursuing a replacement, but purchasing a SeaSonic 80+ unit.

Overall Review: It's a pretty case, but you get what you pay for. In the end, with the purchase of the new PS and 2.5" adapters, I ended up spending about the same amount as similar highly reviewed cases but I experienced more overall hassle than had I gone with the other case in the first place.
