Reliable storage

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Overall Review: I spent several weeks researching all the different brands and lines of hard drives. After talking with a buddy in the tech business who pays more in quarterly taxes than I make in a year I decided on the HGST Ultrastar. Hitachi took them over but they still make the HGST independently rather than just slapping a new name on what they crank out of their mnanufacturing facility. THe Ultrastar is their enterprise line and my buddy told me that for a stick it in and forget it it was my best bet and I'd get exactly what I'd paid for. Nearly a year later now and he was right, I formatted it, started saving stuff to it and haven't had to think about it since. I could not be happier with it.
Seriously

Pros: Decent case, low price, fans can be set up to work rather well and once you get the front case fan moved from inside the case and behind the faceplate it looks rather decent.
Cons: Only 6MB standoff screws? Seriously? Major FAIL on the manufacturers part. The front fan needs to be moved, I had to remove it and the front plate and turn the fan around to mount it behind the faceplate as where it was mounted blocked at least 3 HD bays. Plus I ripped off that cheap sheet of foam behind the grill in front of the fan. Also could use some space between the drive bays and the MB cause heaven forbid anyone would want to I don;t know, mount anything inside the case, or maybe even run some wires without it looking like a rats nest. Also had to remove the rear case fan in order to get the MB faceplate installed in the back, not that big a hassle but just another in a long list of hassles with this case
Overall Review: Well you do get what you pay for. I have used their cases before and the forty dollar price point used to get you a pretty decent case. It looks like I will have to remand that to at least sixty, maybe even eighty
Flash memory!

Pros: It works 32g
Cons: Nothing
Overall Review: Bought this as I gave my 16g card to a friend to replace the 256mb card she got with her phone. Dead reliable, just put it in and forget it. I used this card for the rest of the year and then as I ended up going with a Nexus 6 (what idiot thinks a cell phone doesn't need an SD slot, seriously?) I gave it to another friend who somehow didn't have on at all in her phone. now a year later it's still running strong in probably her third phone, maybe more. She's MERCILESS with her cell phones. LOL
Click them in and forget them

Pros: G.Skill, what more do I have to say? I trust them to go in the computer I built my parents
Cons: Red heat spreaders when everything else in my case is blue.
Overall Review: It's G.Skill, I trust them to go in any computer I touch. The heat spreaders? Yeah, the color is seriously the ONLY thing I could ever possibly have issue with this time, luckily for me I couldn't care less. They're G.Skill so I know they work, they have for over a year now so far without so much as a hiccup.
Install it and forget it

Pros: -Fast fast FAST!
Cons: None
Overall Review: I'm no expert but this thing was super simple. I just plugged it in and other than a couple SSD specifics in my OS I don't even have to think about it. Over a year and not so much as a glitch!
Best thumb drive EVER!

Pros: -Actual metal construction -Nice big loop
Cons: -Nothing
Overall Review: I had snagged an 8 or 16 gig version previously just because, I can not tell you how impressed I was with it. The metal construction means it doesn't get crushed or broken in my pocket. The nice big loop on the end means I can hook it onto or hang it off of dam near anything and I won't lose it because some dinky little piece of plastic broke. I seriously can't see how anyone else ever manages to sell any other thumb drives.
Great vendor
I ordered a Citizen nighthawk from this vendor on a Tuesday, my watch showed up that Wednesday. While it's not that surprising for 1 day delivery from Brooklyn to Philadelphia I don't expect it and it's a nice surprise when it happens. The watch pictured on Newegg was a US Nighthawk and what I received was an Asian market Nighthawk with no warranty card. This is to be expected with grey market watches. That being said I am VERY happy with my purchase. The Asian varian has the much nicer satin engraved caseback rather than the US polished laser engraved caseback. Apart from some other minor differences on the dial the watches are the same. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and their shipping.
