Awesome Performance

Western Digital RE2-GP WD1000FYPS 1TB IntelliPower 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Western Digital RE2-GP WD1000FYPS 1TB IntelliPower 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Low sound and power usage. Doesn't overheat and stays fairly cool. Enterprise versions are definitely superior. JBOD and RAID 1 configurations both work great, I use these drives for my Thecus N2100 NAS.

Cons: Can't seem to locate them.

Overall Review: Buy this if you're looking for an internal HDD that you can rely on for years since it comes with a 5-year warrantee (Western Digital definitely backs their product). I've researched plenty of HDD before I bought the RE2 GP, almost bought the RE16 (def. stick with WD though), but I couldn't resist the latest 1TB technology.

Keep in mind ...

Patriot Xporter Magnum 64GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable) PEF64GMNUSB
Patriot Xporter Magnum 64GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable) PEF64GMNUSB

Pros: 64GB

Cons: ReadyBoost does not work with Windows 7.

Overall Review: If you need a 64GB USB flash drive for your Windows 7 computer/laptop/netbook, this is a great buy; however, if you also need to use ReadyBoost, then this device is not for you since the ReadyBoost feature does not work with Windows 7. The item description should be more descriptive so that I do not have to waste my time purchasing and then returning the product since I really needed the ReadyBoost feature on top of the large storage capabilities.

Fantastic Picture

Acer X243Wbd Black 24" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 400 cd/m2 3000:1 ACM with HDCP support
Acer X243Wbd Black 24" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 400 cd/m2 3000:1 ACM with HDCP support

Pros: Awesome display, vibrant colors, Cysis is almost perfect, see below.

Cons: ONE DEAD PIXEL, the only reason this monitor didn't get 5 eggs is because of this one red dead pixel on the left side of my monitor. I was hoping I'd be one of those customers who didn't have any dead pixels but I guess this just isn't a perfect world.

Overall Review: I'm aware that many are able to deal with dead pixels but unfortunately I'm not one of these people. Reluctantly this is my first return so they offered me a refund but FYI, an LCD usually needs to have at least 8 dead pixels for an exchange or refund. I still need to buy a monitor but with at least a guarantee of an exchange if the monitor has a dead pixel I'm not sure what I'm going to do. GOOD LUCK !

Good Computer Even 4 Gaming

CyberpowerPC Desktop PC Gamer Infinity 4410 Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2GB DDR2 500GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT Windows Vista Home Premium
CyberpowerPC Desktop PC Gamer Infinity 4410 Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2GB DDR2 500GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT Windows Vista Home Premium

Pros: 2.4 GHz Core 2 Quad Q6600 Processor, NVIDIA GeForce 8500GT 512MB PCI Express Graphic Card, 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 800, and not to mention the 500GB SATA-II 3.0Gb/s 8MB Cache 7200RPM HDD. Photoshoping and Gaming has now become awesome to do instead of time consuming and not being able to run Cyrsis on Medium to High Settings. Awesome system right out of the box, make sure you have a DVI monitor so that you're able to see the true potential of graphics !!!

Cons: The case light was loose (the blue light that illuminates the inside of the tower) and I do wish it was a SLI motherboard but for the price I can't legitimately complain.

Overall Review: Like someone else said, upgrading the power supply should be done if want to overclock/upgrade parts.

Awesome NAS

Thecus N2100BM Diskless System Network Storage
Thecus N2100BM Diskless System Network Storage

Pros: Opening it up and installing hard drives is so easy. The wizard guides you through practically the whole set-up, no annoying software like I heard about MioNet one that comes with the Western Digital MyBook World Edition NAS server (almost bought this until I read all of the terrible reviews about it). The built in software works awesome. Online features are satisfy both the novice and advanced user.

Cons: Bright blue LED light! LOL! For those who are reading this it's only a joke, don't let the light stop you. hehe.

Overall Review: I currently have two Western Digital RE2-GP 1TB HDD running RAID 1 and all is perfect. If you encounter any problems, we all do, check out the Thecus forum, we talk about EVERY issue there and I'm not exaggerating: http://thecususergroup.proboards106.com/index.cgi
