gamers average headset

Pros: Great sound quality at bearable loudness vibration mode it fun but gives me a headache after a while. lights, the several colors could be done away with a solid color. Useful for seeing how much noise is actually getting put out on average, a lot of red is going to give you a headache most likely fits great. 5 hours of counter-strike with these on and my ears are in no more shock then when I play with my surround sound setup. Excellent for night gaming because I don't lose too much in the quality of the sound either, including the bass. Microphone quality is GREAT - I've owned half a dozen mics and they've always made me sound like a little kid, and my last one made me sound asian. This has the truest mic quality I've had yet (first pair of "gamer" head phones however, for a nice headset, something I've wanted for a while)
Cons: headband is plastic, feels kinda cheap. I take excellent care of all my PC equipment (I'm a spazz over neatness of my computer room. This stuff's too expensive to just go breaking.) Hopefully the cheap feel to them will not kill them too soon. At very, unbearably loud levels of sound (max) there is static. This is true for any speaker, fully expected. Leave your windows volume at 50% you will not have this problem.
Overall Review: Excellent quality for the price. Color scheme along with my logitech G11 keyboard and MX revolution mouse with my custom rig will certainly be showy at the next lan partys. Half the battle is looking cool, after all.
NO LAN SUPPORT!!!

Pros: everything worked in my system EXCEPT LAN!!
Cons: NO LAN ><! It says it supports gigabit lan, and even has a slot for it, does it respond? No, of course not. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Overall Review: DONT CHEAP OUT! BUY BETTER Still love for newegg though, not there fault its junk, but I honestly think if so many other people have this problem, it should be disposed of.
cheap, big

Pros: Its cheap, its big, it functions. I will buy a 2nd one for dual display replacing my other flat panel without a second thought, you cant beat this price for this much real estate.
Cons: kind of bright when I first plugged it in, had to fiddle with settings to get it to a place I was comfortable with, I'm now well adjusted to it. button placement is kind of silly, I've gotten into the habit of tapping upwards with my finger to power it off
Overall Review: getting a 2nd, would recommend to any PC user on a budget, go for the nicer monitors for people looking to get a high quality image. These are cheap and they work, not a bad image but not an astounding one either
Dependable

Pros: I've had this thing for years, it shipped with a motherboard I bought a long time ago, DFI lanparty pro 875B or something like that. Still strong, still holds computers.
Cons: No cell phone pocket, LCD monitor strap, or a elastic strap for head phones, the peripherals bag isn't stretchy much and too small for a large keyboard like the Logitech G11
Overall Review: A basic lan carrier, you may want to look into a backpack designed for carrying peripherals, or a vest for the same purpose, if you're a real hardcore gamer. If you're just moving a PC though, this is plenty fine.
amazing mouse, amazing functions

Pros: far more responsive then any mouse I've ever owned, wireless or not. better signal then my old wireless mouse (intellimouse 2.0) compact receiver zoom thumb wheel for photoshop (huge selling point for me) excellent tracking fast scroll bar, fun for counter-strike for a spazzy seizure looking gun switch. Too fast for most other things so far rechargeable when charged it will last a long long time before needing charged again silent side buttons, great position of them
Cons: Cant even think of a con for once....
Overall Review: shape looks weird but it is incredibly comfortable, I'm a fan of wireless mice but never found the kinda tracking a mouse like the G5 has, this mouse blows way past it though, get a good mousing surface and you'll have extremely accurate mouse. (my ratzpad is old and on its last leg - another scrim season and its done)
so close to perfect, but plenty close enough

Pros: the G keys, best things you'll ever have on your keyboard if you play any game requiring either a lot of buttons / combos, or things like counter-strike and buy scripts, or World of Warcraft and setting up auto-attacks for lazy playing. Backlights are sexy mute key is good, poor placement however (make me reach!?!?) my main weapons in counter-strike can be purchased with my pinky finger without straying from WASD. How awesome is that. USB ports are a nifty idea, if they worked I think they would be better to the left as well, usually people have there monitor in front of there keyboard, so elongating this keyboard even more then it already is kinda stupid.
Cons: USB ports do not have enough power, nearly enough. if it could run my flash drive and mouse receiver, that would be awesome stuff, it would free up much needed USB ports on the rig itself. In theory the USB hub is brilliant considering how many people have USB headsets, flash drives, and wireless mice with data stick sized receivers.
Overall Review: sound dial is nothing but an i-pod rip off, and I'm a avid I-pod hater. (rather, just a apple hater) USB hub makes me sad :( AWESOME for photoshop functions for digital painters like myself. Not having to drop the tablet pen to click a tool / scroll about, or wonder about looking for the keyboard shortcut to things, basically left hand being completely stationary except for finger movement. Increases work potential greatly eliminating those few seconds that happen hundreds and thousands of times while in photoshop. Favorite part is the G keys
