Pros: Great price, fast speed and easy install
Cons: Download of latest image transfer software required. Not supported by Win10 unless latest software installed. Easiest to clone using USB 3 to SATA/power cable.
Overall Review: Nice upgrade and boost of speed. Can't beat the price.
Pros: Beautiful finish and overall design. Drip pan, adjustable thermostat and timer work great. Beeps upon warm-up after powered. Very consistent browning of waffles.
Cons: When in "parked" position for loading and unloading, griddle does not rest level well and pivots slightly side to side. This can cause uneven filling of cavity and partial waffles.
Overall Review: The creation of a good detent was missing during the design phase of this waffle maker. A simple spring loaded pin and divot would lock the platters into position at the loading and cooking orientations.
Pros: Nice, heavy professional-looking case with bottom and back speaker mounts and included hardware. Sound output is acceptable for my simple indoor application (old Sound Design stereo from early 1980's).
Cons: Arrived in cheap, rice-paper box (never a good sign). Very poor speaker connectors that are flimsy and lack good spring tension. I had to wedge foam from the package behind the connector levers to hold wires in place.
Overall Review: Worth what I paid for them (on sale) but would not recommend these for any outdoor or audiophile project. Connections will not hold up to outdoor conditions unless replaced with beefier tension retainers. Non-sale price is a laugh.
Pros: Metal construction and a tight enough mechanism to prevent slippage of the measurement device. Returns to a solid 0.0 mm, even from wider measurements ... very important if needing to perform multiple measurements without a reset at the zero position. Extra battery included. Excellent buy for the money, even when not on sale.
Cons: Case is cheaply made with no foam for better protection of the calipers during storage.
Overall Review: Go ahead and buy these if you need a good digital calipers for hope or at the factory/lab. Not a big name brand, but very good quality at a great price.
Pros: Bright LED's, decent price, and fast ship of product. Dramatic improvement to view of license plate. Bright white light as opposed to dingy yellow light emitted from incandescent bulbs.
Cons: Not an easy change out experience with my 08 Honda Accord EX Sedan. Had to use quite a bit of force to remove old bulbs. Mounting bracket broke during transition (glued back together w/o issue).
Overall Review: People who had trouble with these LED's probably did not put enough thought and effort into the job of change out. Moving from a incandescent bulb with no polarity to an LED array with a specific polarity requires consideration and patience. Care must also be taken in handling the fragile LED arrays.
Pros: Slow wake alarm and auto set of time are great features. Battery backup means one less worry. Dual weekday/weekend alarm setup is very useful. Performs Daylight Saving Time adjustment automatically. Nice big display for folks like me who need glasses, but don't wear them while asleep.
Cons: Very bright display - I just sleep facing away or put something in front of the display each night.
Overall Review: Owned two. First one worked until end of warranty period. It must have had an internal short because radio sound had a buzz to it and when it gave up it's ghost - it completely died. Liked design so much I bought another which had no problems and radio sounds great. Why does anybody rate this (refurb) model so negatively just because it needs a battery. For most alarm clocks, backup batteries are not supplied. Its not needed to operate the clock.
Pros: Many members of my family now use this camera for Skype following my recommendations. I personally have purchased three for various projects. Excellent video quality, great auto-focus and depth of field, fantastic microphone sound and perfect face-tracking capabilities. I have found great deals on this Logitech camera model over the last year.
Cons: If in retail package with software, many of the applications are unnecessary, though some are cool to use. This offering has no software, but you may be able to download drivers and apps from the Logitech support site.
Overall Review: If you want a great Skype camera, this is it. Just remember, you will still need a good connection to get good video and audio quality.
Pros: Carl Zeis lens provides excellent optics w/ great depth of field. Easy to set up with Skype and audio/video quality was excellent with a call from Indiana to Georgia on DSL. Great software package w/ face tracking avatars. Good diagnostics included. Set one up for myself and my parents, both installed without a hitch. Used with Vista and Windows 7 OS's. Snugs well to top of various-sized monitors without getting in way of screen. Long USB cable makes it easy to route from monitor to CPU under desk. Built-in mic has excellent sound quality and pickup. Very hard to beat this webcam for the price at Newegg.
Cons: A needless Explorer toolbar add-on is easy to bypass if you are paying attention during initial installation. The additional Logitech video chat software is not necessary if you use Skype.
Overall Review: This is an excellent choice and may even be overkill for most video chat applications. Second best unit that Logitech offers. Next model up has 1080p resolution and stereo mics, both of which are not even used for DSL level video chat sessions. Considering the high quality of these Logitech webcams, bandwidth between parties becomes the most critical factor in a good video chat session, so avoid peak useage times for the best video and audio results.
Pros: Beautiful design with input options. Both a great PC monitor (bright, excellent colors) and HDTV, so kudos to Samsung for pulling that feat off successfully. It made a fantastic addition to my new system. New, lower price makes it a definite buy for anyone just wanting a large WS monitor. The fact that it is also a 1080p HDTV that's HDCP compliant (tested with new Blu-Rays) puts it over the top.
Cons: Touch-activated power button works a little flakey, causing me to use the remote every once in awhile.
Overall Review: For this new, lower price, no one should pause in snapping one of these babies up. You can always offload your humbled (basic) flat panel monitor to a family member.
Pros: Very good price, even considering I purchased this memory in February. Three sticks that worked did so without a hickup.
Cons: One stick was bad on a new system I built today. I stored the unopened package in ESD-safe envelope in a closet until I used it today. Took me awhile before I discovered the problem with with the memory. All boiled down to just one bad stick our of four.
Overall Review: Contacted A-Data about the bad stick, awaiting an RMA for replacement ... too old for NewEgg to RMA. May not use this brand again unless speedy response to RMA request and fast processing.
Pros: Great classic animations and can't beat the price from Newegg.
Cons: Some of the older animations are more abstract, which I do not favor.
Overall Review: A must for a serious collector who wants a complete library of classic computer animations.
Pros: Wow. If you are into computer animation like I am, this is definitely a great addition to your collection. Great package price through Newegg.
Overall Review: You probably want the full collection if you are into computer animation.
Pros: Beautiful appearance, holds firm on computer desk, great tracking surface. Great price from Newegg.
Cons: Usually I have the pad "halo" turned off. You have to sacrafice a USB port to power it if you dig the blue glow. Very big pad, so you better have room.
Overall Review: If you are a dedicated nighttime online gamer, this is probably a wonderful addition.
Pros: Easy installation. Each card section identified as specific drive number in system. Works great with my XD and CF cards.
Overall Review: You get what you pay for and, though this card reader was a little more that others, its performance earns the price. Great deal through Newegg.
