Great Drive & Quiet

Pros: Plug and Play, what more can I say! Dropped it in case, attached power and the IDE Cable and done. Much more quiet than my old drive. Primarily use it with EAC and can hardly hear it. Reads burned DVD+R DL where my old drive was having problems.
Cons: nada
Overall Review: Satisfied... so far!
Don't use USB!

Pros: NONE!
Cons: Replaced another reader with this one because I wanted a black one to match my case. The card readers would work until you inserted a USB device. Either it would say it's a 1.1 USB device, device is defective or nothing at all. Then Windows Explorer (My Computer) would disappear. I know it's not my computer because my old reader worked perfectly.
Overall Review: Noticed the wiring on my old reader and this one were different. Where 5 & 4 pins were used on my old reader, only 4 & 4 were used on the Rosewill. On their web site, it shows a completely different wiring setup than what is on this one but it is exactly the same as the one on my old reader which works.
exFAT

Pros: Bought this to store MP3 music for my Kia Sportage Audio USB input. My Sportage Audio System didn't recognize it due to it being formatted exFAT. I needed to re-format to FAT32. After that, worked GREAT! Used a program called HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool 2.2.3
Cons: None
Overall Review: Had no problems with speed transfer as stated in other reviews. Seemed just as fast as other USB thumb drives I used. Worked great on a PC with the native exFAT.
