Did not work
Pros: Price (if on sale), size and dual voltage (if it worked), but no pros as it did not work
Cons: Support, none or hard to get - on the warranty card phone number 1-626-606-3108 if you call (just try) you will get a voicemail in Spanish as mentioned in other reviews and I called many times but I did not want to leave a message as I am not sitting by the phone or the setup all day to hear back from support. Was finally able to speak with support (will explain below).
Overall Review: Tried the installation via both home and work computers, 2 laptops and 2 desktops (with XP, vista, windows7) and could not get it working. After trying the initial setup on one computer by CD, it opened the browser and redirected to the online setup page 192.168.0... but on the other 3 it just stopped after the initial steps and showing the ethernet wiring diagram and said that I did not connect the Lan/Wan (which is not ture) - something like that, can't remember now. Anyway, I pulled up the IP 192... to setup manually and tried the process (obtain MAC address, etc.,) on all 4 computers but it would not work after several tries - LAN worked ok but it would not obtain the IP address in the WAN setup. So, I called for support several times from the number on the warranty card but as mentioned (cons above) all I got was a voicemail in spanish. Anyway, while reading through other reviews for the same company on another product page, I noticed someone mentioned to call the phone number on the Newegg webpage for the item page (1-800 at the bottom) and then when the system comes on press sales instead of support so it doesn't send you to the Spanish voicemail. I did that a few times and I still got the voicemail. After 2 weeks or so I wanted to try one last time and this time when I called the phone number from the webpage (1-800) I pressed support and got connected to a person. So, we go through the setup again (most of it already tried) and then try a couple of things and it did not work. At this time the person (who was nice) told me that he did not know what the problem was and told me that the router is good and I have to call my Internet provider. So, I told him that mine or any other internet provider is not going to answer any questions about the router and it is not something that I can ask them for and he told me he was sorry and may be I can take it back to the store. I had bought it on sale (because of pros above) but it did not work. Newegg was able to refund on this one but I am having problems dealing with Newegg with regards to another item (2nd defective item out of 8 or so I ordered in the last 45 days) - with the other item (mobile phone) Newegg is asking me to contact the vendor but it was sold by Newegg and not by marketplace and does not say anywhere in the webpage or the terms page under returns that the returns will be handled by the vendor - I asked for a supervisor and pointed that to him and he still said that I have to deal with the vendor. So, keep in mind that you may or may not get assistance from Newegg if the product is defective.
