Extremely Good

Pros: I've had my SU1000RTXL2Ua now for nearly seven years and after a recent prolonged power outage it indicated that the batteries needed replacing. That is amazing service! I live out in the country and although power outages are getting less frequent They still happen. The primary use for this UPS is to protect my NAS, with the USB cable connected between the it shuts down the NAS before the batteries run out of juice. Seems to run for a long time, maybe an hour before shutting down. I'm thinking of getting another to replace an APC I'm not totally happy with. This is the best UPS I've ever had. I would recommend this to anyone who is serious about protecting their systems.
Cons: Like many have already said it has a loud fan, that runs all the time. The replace battery warning beep can't be switched off, let face it we don't keep spare battery packs handy so it would be nice to stop the eternal beep until the new pack arrives. Turning it off when you know power will not be restored soon is a trick you have to learn, at first it doesn't seem to want to be turned off but it can be done. I guess it's good to protect against accidental shutdown. Like most UPS remote software Tripp lite are not in the software business. I prefer not to use the supplied software. Thankfully they make great UPS systems.
Not the best.

Pros: Great product for the price. Though it would be nice for it to last more than a year.
Cons: at various times the unit had to be reset because it had locked up. Then the touch sensor failed, this leaves the unit with limited functionality of address book and calender. Unfortunately you can't run the update from the PC, it has to be initiated from the PDA. If it was possible to update from the PC the unit would still be of some value.
Overall Review: Would be nice to be able to remote into the unit from a PC or plug a keyboard in to the unit. It would also be good to have a case which prevents the unit from accidentally being turned on.
Totally unreliable

Pros: Fast while working
Cons: I bought two of these from newegg and they both failed after about a years service both were replaced by western digital under warranty and now one of the replacements has failed. All failed dramatically losing all data and of course between backups so some data totally lost in all instances. I will never use these drives again. Even the working one will be removed. Also I'd recommend mirroring.
Overall Review: Even the working one will be removed. Also I'd recommend mirroring, at least that is what I'll be doing in the future. Don't buy these three out of four failed. I have other drives that have been running for over twenty years and still going.
