Great Drives. Might have to start buying more of these again.

Pros: I'm using these in a NAS system in a mirrored array and the write speeds are quite good. Solid, error-free performance. Very little internal temperature variance.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I used to swear by the IBM Deskstar drives until the infamous "DeathScratch" quality issues made them unreliable back in the early 2000's. When Hitachi took over the line, I still didn't trust them. Recently the word on the street has been that these drives were very reliable and so I bought two for a mirrored array and they are beating the pants off my Seagate, WD Red and Samsung drives. The write times to the mirror are as fast as the read times on the other drives. Time will tell as far as the reliability goes. They are in a mirror so as long as they don't fail simultaneously, I'm not too worried. I read someone's review saying they bought these drives and the SMART tests indicated the drives were used. I was slightly concerned. Mine came from goHardDrive and the SMART tests verified they were new. After initializing the drives and then loading them to near capacity ( about a 3 day process of continuous writing), there were zero errors and temps were 30 degrees C +/- 1 degree the entire run. I'm very pleased.
Works well. Although, not the model I thought it was.

Pros: We have many MagTek Card readers and they generally work great. This one is no exception.
Cons: This model is only a single head, meaning that you have to pay attention to which side of the card you swipe.
Overall Review: Sadly, I couldn't read the model number from the readers we currently use which are dual head and can read the magstrip on the cards regardless of which way you put the card in. This model looks pretty much like all of our other readers and the description said "bi-directional read capability". I mistook that for being able to read either side of the card. It does not.
Fraction of the price I see elsewhere

Pros: Super inexpensive and it's a class 10 card. This is 32GB class 10 card is half the SALE price of the 16GB Kingston class 4 card I almost bought two weeks ago. I loaded it up to the full capacity to make sure it was as advertised.
Cons: None so far. I've used 1 out of the 4 I purchased.
Overall Review: I bought this from NMicro Technology Co., Ltd. (one of New Egg's sellers) and it was mailed from Taiwan. It appears that the packaging was for international sales as more of the text on the packaging was non-english. But the SD card itself was fine/normal. Also, note that the product description mentions that delivery will be 8-15 days. It took 10 days for mine to arrive in Seattle-Tacoma Metro area. Also, I am using it in a computer NOT a cell phone. Apparently there can be some buggy issues with certain SD cards and cell phones.
Better than Expected

Pros: Most importantly, the unit looks great :) I am testing it with a 320GB Seagate drive and the speed is impressive through the USB interface. I am getting 27-32GB/s thru USB. Roughly half of what I get when I install directly in the PC. Very Fast. Unit is sturdy and does not seem to be overly warm, which also surprised me. It is recognized right off the bat by my Linux Boxes with Ubuntu Breezy. No *nix issues that I can detect.
Cons: The USB cord that comes with it is a tad short of what most USB items come with. I'd put it at maybe 3' tops. The Cool blue light that eminates from the front, flashes when data is transfering but stays ON steady otherwise, I wish it were OFF when idle, as it is a bit bright and I have moved it away so it doesn't distract me.
Overall Review: I'm very surprised at the the performance, quality and appearance for the low price I paid.
Seagate 320GB ATA100 IDE Hard Drive

Pros: I have to say that the drive is extremely quiet and despite reviews on New Egg saying that the drive runs hot, I have not experienced any unusual temps. Even a tight external USB enclosure, it got warm, but not hot to the touch. xx DOLLARS. That's like *grabs calculator* 3.4 GB per dollar. This drive is fast in both USB 2.0 enclosure 27-32MB/s and ATA100-IDE interface 54MB/s. I wish I could predict longevity, but product reviews of Seagate products over the last few years seems Positive. I highly recommend this drive
Cons: The only Cons I can think of is that I haven't purchased another one yet.
Overall Review: I ordered this with a Rosewill USB 2.0 enclosure combo deal and the drive performs well in the enclosure. I have experienced momentary dropouts in the usb connection (once in 4-6 hours) probably due to cabling. But quite suitable for typical use.
A- Ok
Purchased two hard drives and they were the correct items, on time (came via USPS) and well packed. I would buy from them again.
Read the Product Description and have patience.
I ordered 4 Micro SD cards from this seller. In the description it said up front that the seller uses "First From Asia - Taiwan" for shipping and that it would take 8 to 15 days. The product price was a fraction of the price I've seen elsewhere (like wayyyyy less) I read the other reviews and complaints about ship times, but heck they pretty much say it's going to take a couple of weeks. So you can be patient OR you can pay four times the price. I chose to be patient. I reasoned that worse case scenario, if the product was a no-show, New Egg would issue a refund or I would do a charge back on my credit card. So why not? The product was as advertised and worked fine. Notes: Delivery to the Pacific Northwest took ten days Packaging was for international market (hence the cheap price) The tracking number they send you isn't going to work as it is from the Taiwanese Postal Service. At least I couldn't find a way to track it. Have faith and patience. YMMV, my experience exceeded my expectations.
