Excellent AMD board with latest connects

Pros: Had no problem installing and setting this board up with my old FX-6300 and DDR3 Ram. Was going to go back to Intel board but that meant upgrading everything, so went with this board for the M.2 support. Installed a Samsung PM961 on this board and had no problems installing Windows 10 and booting from it. Yes you can use NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 m.2 SSD's on this board, of course you don't get the full speed of the SSD with AMD yet, but 20Gb/s is much better than the SATA 6Gb/s. The BIOS is very nice also and it worked with no problem with my wireless Logitech touch pad.
Cons: Was concerned about the placement of the M.2 slot being right under the double wide video card but so far no heat issues and no problem with it interfering the install of the video card. Just think it should be placed somewhere else than next to the main PCIe slot
Overall Review: Don't understand why AMD is taking forever supporting PCIe Gen3, I'm ready to upgrade my old AMD setup but there's no real upgrades for a long time now using AM3+ chips. I have supported AMD for many years but they need to keep up with Intel on the chipset side of things. This is a great interim board for now, but that's all it is, but for $55 it's worth it even if it's just for the M.2 support. My AMD video card is a bit dated too, so I'm ready for the next gen AMD setup which better come soon or it will be back to Intel. Thanks to ASRock for making this board in the meantime :)

Pros: Fits nice, does what it's supposed to do
Cons: Should be 20-25 dollars, not 40. Can't charge when sleeve is closed.
Overall Review: Would have given 4 stars if you could charge it with the sleeve closed, don't understand that design. It's a nice sleeve overall, don't know if lack of a cutout for the SD card is a pro or a con :)
Nice Asus 2 in 1

Pros: looks new, works well, nice keyboard open memory slot for easy upgrade Installed an SSD drive in this along with 4 more Gig of ram which I had from previous laptop which this replaced. Much better with these 2 upgrades. Upgraded to Windows 10 easily enough after cloning the Hard drive to the SSD.
Cons: comes with windows 8.1 slow hard drive
work great, easy setup

Pros: plugged them in and they worked..
Cons: Can't think of any
Great for Media Center

Pros: Works great with Media Center. I got this just for the IR header. Enable the CIR in BIOS of my TA970 MB install the driver and you're good to go. I have no problem powering on my HTPC from S5 state. Use this with my Harmony Smart Control and everything works fine. I have a USB TV card and am able to watch, record, pause live local TV with the Harmony remote.
Cons: The only con I have is that the computer will sometimes turn on when I'm using the Harmony Remote for other tasks. Not a big deal as I have my HTPC on most of the time anyway.
Overall Review: Don't know why the other reviewer can't power on from the off state, maybe need to install the driver from Biostar? i have no problems with the same board.
Great for price

Pros: For $55 can't be beat. Everything worked that I put in it. Use it in a HTPC, got the Bio-Remote, plugged in and it controls all Media Center needs, couldn't have been easier. Have a Vishera 6300 and AMD-260x with 24Gb Ram. Have been using it for 9 months now, no problems.
Cons: Could use more USB 3.0 ports but have a 4 port hub plugged in and it works great with no external power.
Overall Review: The Bio-Remote is a great deal with this MB for your HTPC needs. It's only $10 here on Newegg and just plugs into the CIR header on the MB, just install the drivers and it works great with my Harmony Remote.
