Careful with this one
Pros: For Micro-ATX, this board has a lot of features, and it ASUS' passive cooling keeps it quiet.
Cons: I bought this board because of the RAID capability, but I had a hard time setting up the RAID. The board has 6 SATA ports but if you turn the SATA config to RAID it no longer recognizes CD/DVD devices plugged into the SATA ports because they are all associated with the RAID controller. Called tech support and they said you need to use a PATA device for CD/DVD if you plan to use RAID.
Overall Review: Solved this problem by buying a PCI-express SATA controller. Do that or buy a PATA DVD device if you plan to use this board.
trouble getting it to stick
Pros: LED is cool.
Cons: Like others I could not get this to stick. It stuck for awhile and then came off.
Overall Review: If you get this, buy some thermal glue with it.
Nice CPU
Pros: Very fast for most apps, 45 nm and big shared cache make this one of the best deals in the core 2 series.
Cons: Now that the quad cores are cheaper, I'm not sure if it's quite the same value proposition.
good heatsink / fan
Pros: Keeps the CPU cool, as it should. Compact and quiet.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: If you want a fairly small quiet heatsink this does the job nicely.
Good case.
Pros: It looks cool and it's well laid out. Front panel is nice.
Cons: Be careful what heatsink / fan you buy for the CPU- it has about 4" of space between the processor and power supply for my motherboard, and I had to switch out heatsinks. That said, it's a micro-atx case and I should not have expected it to have much space to begin with.
